I always had a love-hate relationship with milk, some days I like it and most of the time I hate it....I have that similar relationship with Saathiya.

Saathiya (2010 - 2017) is about how two cousins Gopi and Rashi get married into the same family irrespective of their mutual differences. Gopi's mother-in-law, the apparently strict Kokila, then transforms her into a woman of substance.

Now we all know about Saathiya, obviously with the Rasode Mein Kaun Tha. I think some people might have got to know of the show due to that song. I mean maybe some people who aren't even Indian got to know of Saathiya because of that one song.

Well I have known the show since I was 7 years old so I have seen the sweet and the salty which I will now explain.

SNS: The Sweet

Rashi and Urmilla Behn....I will forever love that mother-daughter duo.

Little Meera. Baby Meera was L.O.V.E.

Gopi and Ahem were a cute couple so was Rashi and Jigar as well as Shravan and Vidya.

Kolika and Urmilla's banter. I mean come on people their banter was amazing!

I liked the show when Meera was Gauri because of the whole fake death drama.

Little Tolu and Molu's mischief.

Rashi being relatable. See Gopi was like Barbie and Rashi was Raquelle. Barbie is perfect whilst Raquelle was imperfect and relatable. We could probably relate more to Rashi than Gopi.

When Rashi died, the show lost its charm. Sorry if anyone wants to disagree with me here, I am not talking to you anymore. If people are going to say that the show got better with Rashi dead....honey, bye.

I didn't like Pari and Jigar marrying....I don't mind Pari but I feel like Jigar and Rashi were the OG couple.

Did the Radha drama track really had to be extended?

Why was Gopi's mother turned evil? What was the point of that? What happened to her father cuz he eventually disappeared? RASHMI I NEED ANSWERS!

Kolika's temper tantrums......oh come on, you all agree with me right?

Can I just ask why did Kolika stay with Parag though he cheated on her with another woman and had a child with that woman? Come on people, what happened to nayi soch? If I was a grown up woman with a husband who cheated on me with another woman and had a child with her, I'd throw the bloody divorce papers at his face and kick him out.

Was Jaggi really necessary? Was him being Parag's illegitimate son really necessary?

Was Ahem's death really necessary?

Making Mansi Krishna's sister....so many things don't add up.

I personally didn't like how Meera married Dharam who was her sister's father-in-law. Like isn't it weird having your sister as your saas? Just saying -

Was there really a point behind Ramakant and Sita too? Like what in order to get TRP, Rashmi decided to make Vidya the exchange baby and Ramakant Gopi's biological son. Hey Bhagwan, what was the logic and the point?

Why the excessive drag of Gaura?

They could have added more character to Shravan.

What happened to little Rashi? Someone please tell me.

...

And now Rashmiji has released season 2 to the world of television. SNS 2, the sequel NO ONE ASKED FOR!

Gehna is the illiterate servant girl, Anant is the rich dude, blah blah blah, seen it, beared it, cried....basically the story of most Star Plus serials. When do we get an illiterate dude and an educated girl story? I watched two episodes of it and I cringed and cried and had to bang my head against the wall.

Please try understanding Lavanya's sarcasm. It does help in the future :)

Overall SNS gets a 3/10 from me, it would have been higher if Rashi stayed.

SNS 2 doesn't get a rating.
