Preface:

I was running with my little daughter Alexandra, she was just born yesterday and I knew Aro didn't approve of this at all. He plans on killing her but he cant kill her if he cant find her, I will do everything I can to protect my little girl from him..her own father...and my husband. I know after tonight he will kill me too knowing he has no heart. He has been cold blooded since the day I had met him I had just been too blind to see it, and now I fear it is too late. I had got myself into something i wish that i never got into

I kept running with my daughter in my arms and the guards not too far behind. I literally had tears in my eyes afraid we would never make it out alive. I would sacrifice my life for her, she's my world and I cant lose her. Even if I'm gone I will protect her as long as I can for she is an innocent child, n baby that wasn't planned at all. I ran and ran as fast as I could with her and headed toward Forks,Washington. I knew there were vampires in Forks along with loving families and people that would eventually find her or adopt her or something and keep her safe from harms way

I hid in a place where they couldn't smell my scent or see me. If I never was going to see my daughter again I at least had wanted to leave something with her for her to remember me. Even just a little note would mean a lot to me, and to her.I got out a pen and piece of paper and wrote on it carefully wanting to make my last gift special to my daughter the note said:

Dear Alexandra,

I love you so much and I am sorry that things came down to this way.. I'm trying to protect you from the people who want to hurt you and kill you my little Alexandra . You are everything to me and I don't know what I would do if they took you baby doll. We may not be together and you may think they took you but they didn't they will never find you and that I am sure of. I left you my diary to read on your 17th birthday and no one else but you can read it, Alexandra, for it holds stuff that I do not want another soul to know or even hear about.. I promise you will have a good loving family who will watch over you,My heart and soul belong to you my little Angel.I will never forget you and i will always be in your heart as you will in mine.

I folded the note up neatly and I had placed it into the basket. I couldn't find myself to let my baby girl go but I knew I had to do this I just knew I had to. I kissed the top of her head before I slid her gently into the basket. I reached into my pocket pulling out my diary and planted a kiss on the diary before i laid it with Alexandra this book held all the answers that she will need when she is older. From when I first met her father all the way till now it will show her and tell her. I took a deep breath and ran quickly to an orphanage and looked at my baby girl one last time. I had left the basket on the step before bolting off after knocking though.

I saw a beautiful young lady open the door and pick up the basket with my little girl in it. Her eyes and mouth went wide and I watched as she stroked my baby girls head lovingly. How I wish I would be able to care for my daughter but after tonight I know I will be dead. I smiled watching the lady with my girl knowing that she's in good and safe hands. The lady soon had found the note and she opened it, reading it carefully.

"You poor little girl.. Alexandra is your name isn't it." The lady said to my baby and I heard her coo softly. A smile crept on my face glad that I would leave this world knowing that she was alive and safe. I blew a kiss towards my little girl and ran, as I was running I felt someone grab me by the neck.

"Where is Aro's daughter the man said and I knew it was a guard. His grip had tightened on my neck but I never was gonna give in to him. If I am going to die then my girl was going to stay alive and they better get that through their heads.

"I will never tell you!" I yelled and he looked at me. A grin popped up onto his face as he leant in and kissed my cheek gently. Then he placed his lips on my ear as he spoke.

"We will find her one day." He said. Just then I felt my head being twisted around and I screamed and knew this was the end for me.
