Daughter of a monster

Chapter 1

(Alexandra is 8 years old)

Alexandras POV:

I was pacing back and forth in my room thinking of what could be in the diary.It had to be something very important if I couldn't read it now or maybe i was just too little to even open it or understand. My mother had left me a letter though and I would read it everyday! I held it close to me because it was the only thing I had of her right now. But I know that I am destined to get the diary one day. As for my father I have not one thing from him at all. I don't even know if I even look like him in any way. I would hope so.

I heard footsteps nearing my door and I quickly sat down on my bed. I wanted to seem as innocent as I can, if that is even possible. I don't know why but I've always had really good hearing since i was just a baby. I heard the door knob twist and I grabbed a book quickly and placed it in my lap as if I was reading it. When the door opened my head looked up and I smiled seeing that it had been Miss. Mary.

"How are you doing today Alexa?" Miss Mary asked me. I smiled warmly at her as I stood up and walked over to her.

"I'm doing great Miss Mary. I'm just thinking about what could be in the diary again." I said and she laughed. Every day I would say that, but I couldn't help it, I wanted to know about my mother and father.

"Your always wondering about that diary Alexa.I promise you in a few years you will be able to read it and find out about your mother." Miss Mary said and I let out a heavy sigh. I was too impatient with this diary I wanted it so badly.

"Thanks I just can't help wondering about it Miss Mary! As well as I just always wonder if I will ever find a family..I love being here with you but I also want to be able to have a family. To have parents who will love me and will treat me like I am theirs." I said softly as I fiddled with my fingers. As I did that Miss Mary tucked a piece of my blonde hair behind my ear, and placed her hands on my shoulders.

"You will find a family Alexa. That family will be lucky to have a girl like you in their family. In fact there is a lady named Rosalie Hale who is looking for a girl. She saw your picture and wants to adopt you when you are around 17 years old..what do you say about that," Miss Mary asked me. I got excited and smiled at the thought of actually having a family.

"I would love that!! But will I be able to spend time with her before she adopts me?" I asked Miss Mary. That had tugged on my mind because i at least wanted to meet her.

"Yes she is here right now actually, and wants to take you out." Miss Mary said and I squealed as I took her hand and tugged on it.

"Really?! Oh Miss Mary I can't believe this. I wonder if she will like me. I wonder what will happen!" I said a burst of energy had ran through me. Miss Mary laughed at me and shook her head.

"Of course she will like you! Now why don't we go meet her." Miss Mary said as she took my hand.We walked out of my room and went to the front building. Only then did my eyes fall upon the most beautiful lady in the world. She was breathtaking and made me a bit sad about how I had looked. Next to her was an handsome man and I smiled and knew that they would be loving parents.

"Hello Mrs.Rosalie and Mr.Emmett..This is Alexandra." Miss Mary said as she let go of my hand. I waved to them both with an smile on my lips. They both walked over to me and came down so that they were eye level with me.

"Hello Alexandra.We want to know if you would like to come and spend a day with us in the park for a picnic." Mrs.Rosalie had said and my eyes twinkled with happiness. I think she noticed too because her smile had gotten even bigger.

"Oh! Yes please I would love that very much Mrs. Rosalie." I had said with excitement in my voice and with a smile bigger then ever before. They both stood back up and were holding hands, they looked really in love no doubt about that at all!

"We will have her back in a few hours, and in perfect condition." Mr. Emmett said with an smile. Mrs. Rosalie took my hand and I looked at our hands then up at her. She smiled at me and I couldn't help but return the smile.

"Alright have fun Alexa. and keep her safe please." Miss Mary said. All of us nodded and I laughed at how we all nodded. They all smiled looking down at me as we began walking to the door. I had turned though and waved to Miss.Mary.

"Bye Miss Mary." I said as we walked out of the orphanage. I was glad to be getting out of there for an while and being able to do something fun. We had walked over to a car and Mr. Emmett opened the back door for me.

"Thank you." I said as I hopped up into the car.Mr. Emmett and Mrs. Rosalie got in the front seats and started the car. We drove along the road for a while until we came across a beautiful park where the grass was a nice green color.There were butterflies and shady trees out and kids with their parents. They parked the car and we got out.Mrs. Rosalie took one of my hands and Mr. Emmett took my other hand.We walked to a shady spot under a tree and they laid out a blanket and we all sat down.

"Alexandra how are you." Mr. Emmett asked me as he looked over at me smiling.

"Im good.How about you?" I asked him, as I fiddled with my hands a bit nervous.

"Im great..so we are thinking about adopting you when you are older." he said and I smiled. I knew that it would be about 9 years but i was glad though that I would have an family then.

"I would really love that." I said and they both smiled.

"We can see that...how about we start our Picnic." Mrs. Rosalie said and I nodded my head. Mrs. Rosalie got out some food and gave some to me, Mr. Emmett,and herself. We all ate and talked every now and then.

"Mrs. Rosalie and Mr. Emmett thank you so much. You don't know how much this means to me. No one would ever adopt me cause they said I looked like a devil's child." I said with tears in my eyes. Every time someone went to adopt me the minute they saw my eyes they would second guess it.

"You can never be a devils child Alexandra..you are too sweet and kind." Mrs. Rosalie said. I looked up at her and smiled. She had been the first besides Miss Mary to say that to me.

"How about we get you home." Mr. Emmett said. I nodded my head and we started to pack up everything. When  we were done packing up everything we headed back towards the car and we got in.They started the car and we drove off towards the orphanage.We climbed out of the car when we got there and we walked inside.

"Welcome back..how was your day," Miss Mary asked me.

"It was soo great!!" I said excited and all three of them laughed.

"Off to bed now Alexa." Miss Mary said and I smiled.

"Ok goodnight everyone." I said.

"Night." Everyone said to me. I walked to my room and went inside to see my roommates up still.

"Alexa how was it?!" Jenna asked me, excited to know.

"Ya tell us everything!!" Chloe said and I laughed.

"Well it was really fun. We went to the park and had a picnic and talked. They are really nice people." I said smiling.

"Thats good well we should get to bed now." Jenna said. As we all got changed into our night gowns and climbed into bed. I smiled and closed my eyes and fell asleep.
