Chapter 3

(Alexandra's 17 birthday)

Alexandras POV:

Today was the day I was getting the diary, I couldn't wait to read it! I'll finally be able to find out stuff about my mom! This is just so great I cant wait to find out everything about her. I wonder what color hair did she have? Was it blonde or brown?What color eyes did she have? Where they very dark like mine or were they light? Was she kind and sweet? Or mean and nasty? There's just so much that I want to know!!

I was excited more then I could ever be dancing around my room humming and singing. As I was doing that i heard a knock on my door. I quickly went to my mirror and brushed out my hair till every single knot was out. Taking a deep breath I went to the door and pulled it open.

"Happy Birthday Alexa!!" Miss Mary said smiling. I smiled right back at her and looked to see what was in her hands. It looked like a book and it was then that I truly knew what it was that Miss Mary held in her hands.

"Thank you, I cannot believe it's here already! And umm is that the Diary?" I asked all excited yet nervous at the same time, and she nodded her head. She held out that book to me with a huge smile on her face and I smiled back. I reached out slowly and took the book into my hands and I felt like the part of me I was always missing was finally found. That piece is here now and it will never leave me anymore

"I will let you start reading it dear. I am sure you are curious about your family" Miss Mary said and I hugged her tightly. She hugged me right back and kissed my forehead before walking out closing the door behind her. I smiled widely as I went and plopped down onto my bed with a sigh of relief. This was it my moment to finally know about my family and who I really am. I opened up the diary and began to read through the pages.

May 17   Dear Diary,

Today is my 21 birthday and my mom gave me this diary to write down all the adventures and new things i will be facing.I am excited to be writing in this diary and one day hope to give this diary to a child of my own if i ever have a child. Well for starters I have blonde hair and light blue eyes I have a big heart and am kind to all that I meet.The days in my town are always quiet at points or there is always screams filling in the air but rarely. I always took long strolls around the town though loving the fresh air and sights that were all around town.Today when I was in town there was a man in a black cloak,  he caught my eye and smiled. I could remember how I just shyly smiled back at him and ran off like some elementary crush. But he is so handsome and I'm in love with him even though we haven't spoken a word, it was love at first sight. I knew from today on that I wanted to marry him one day, he is just someone that I really want to get to know better.

She must be talking about my dad, I guess I got my dark eyes from him. I wonder what else could be in this diary so far I know that I got my hair color from my mother and my eyes from my dad what more is there to know. I kept on reading page by page by page wondering how she had time to write all of this amazing stuff down, her life was like a dream come true. I finally got to the part about mom marrying dad and it was just so romantic. I found out that my dads name is Aro and that he is a king. So I guess that means i'm a princess?? I got to a page that looked interesting and started to read it.

March 31 Dear Diary,

Aro took me out for a walk in the garden today and it was just so magical, the flowers were blooming and it was like paradise. The scents from the garden would hit me and it was like I was on cloud 9 every time. I would have never expected Aro to have a garden at all but he did. He and I danced around and talked for a while. I loved to be in his arms so much and it was just something I never would want to forget. This day I would always keep in my heart and treasure for it was so good.
