“Not to be rude or sound ungrateful, but exactly did you help me?” I questioned

“Well, personally I don’t see a reason why I should’ve, but the headmaster wanted you to stay alive,” He shrugged. “He sees ‘potential’ in you, but to me you just seem to be another ordinary spoiled brat.”

“And your just an asshole,” I snapped.

He seemed to ignore me and began to rummage around in a bag that I hadn’t noticed before. He pulled out a small envelope and handed it to me, nonchalantly.

“Here, the headmaster wanted me to give this to you. I don’t need to waste any more time here, so I’m leaving now,” he said as he quickly got up and shouldered the bag.

He began to walk away when I called out after him,” Hey, who are you?”

He stopped and stood there for a second before turning back to me.  His expression was thoughtful as he spoke slowly,” I am your unwilled guardian angel.”

And with that last phrase he stalked out of the building. As I sat there still pondering the strange visitor, my head began to spin and ache again. I touched the tips of my fingers to the back of my head. I wasn’t bleeding anymore but a lot of blood had dried and matted in my hair.

Through my blurry vision I saw my friends Jaimie and Air rushing up to me. I slipped the envelope into the backpack next to me before they got to me.

“What happened to your head?” Air questioned, touching the cut on my head.

As if my head was stabbed with needles, my head exploded into excruciating pain. I clutched to the sides of my head and screamed out in pain. I realized that I had drawn a lot of attention to myself and once again people started to crowd around me. I barely notice them; all I could focus on was the intense pain coursing through my skull that seemed to intensify every second. Distant voices called my name, and someone else touched my head. Another burst of excruciating pain flowed through my body. I screamed once more, and could feel a burning grow inside of me. Through my closed eyes, I could see flashes of blue light and for some reason the pain suddenly subsided.
