“Her name is Bethany Whells, she is sixteen, and around you hight.” The man’s voice was soiled and stern.
“Does she have brown hair and-?” A girls worried voice came through in the darkness.
“Blue eyes don’t worry, you will have her soon, the plan will go thorough smoothly.” The girl sighed in relieve, everything was on time as planed.
“Soon you will have your princess, Natasha, soon, my princess, soon....”
“Thank you Kelt, dear one.”
Catching the Fake

“Beth, would you go to the town for me? I’m to tired to make the trip today." Bethany walked into the next room were her aging grandpa sat in his rocking chair.
"Sure where the list and I'm on my way?" Bethany lived with only her grandpa, the only family she had left, in a small, wooden cottage, in the middle of a huge forest. She was happy, taking care of her grandpa and keeping them both feed and healthy. I had nothing to complain about, I was still breathing, I was find.
"In the left shelve next to the flour." I found it and tugged on my coat as I opened the door.
"Be back soon, Grandpa." The cold wind lifted brown hair off my face, and I started walking down the dirt path.
The walk to the town was a familiar one, and I listen to sounds of the critters racing along the trees, and the song of the birds as I pasted. But just as I was about to say it was a beautiful day, all the animals froze. Not making a sound, somewhere among the trees a single bird sang out a warning call.
I had stopped in the middle of the path and now I ran to the edge of the forest, off the path.Something was off and Beth knew it. She swiftly ran through the trees, the leaves crunching under her feet.
When she reached the end of the forest and the beginning of the open space that started to the town.
Everyone was quite, no busy people rushing to the markets and back to other stores. No chattering between friends and families as they greet each other. Everything was still, nothing moved.
I stepped out of the foliaged of the trees, but stayed close. Something was seriously wrong today.
That’s when I saw a fancy carriage, pulled by snow wight horses, and all along the main street on both side of the road was a line of gray horses and the men on top of them equally gray in there uniforms. There wasn’t a signal space in between them, no one could get in... Then I saw all the town peoples standing on there front porches of their shops and homes. Staring at the wight carriage in the center of the town.
This was no normal carriage, or people, they were royal.
I gasped. The royalty never came here, maybe someone who worked for them to see how we are doing. But never the royalty themselves.
I couldn’t help but wonder who it was inside that carriage? They still haven’t gotten out.
Just when my mind thought it, the carriage door opened and a man stepped out. Not royal, but working for them personally. Beth stepped closer into the shadows of the trees.
“The young girl,” The man said as he held out a hand, “lives deep in the forest.”
A slim, gloved hand takes his and he help her out. A willowy tall woman dress in shimmering purple dress that would have touched the ground if she weren’t holding it up. She face was angled and posed, her eyes sharp with demands. Her dark brown, almost black, hair curled up under a thin crown.
She was royalty.
“Then let’s go, I need to get out of here soon.” She didn’t try to keep the disgust out of her voice, anger built up in me as she slapped my pride for this town.
“Yes, my princess-” The man starts, but the royal interrupts.
“Soon I will be your queen. Now get my horse for me.” She stuck her nose up at the man. What did she mean about soon she will be the queen? I couldn’t think about it any more, I had to go, hide in the woods till they pass.
They must have the wrong town, no one lived in the forest but me and my grandpa. Everyone else feared the wild animals that lived here. No one else...
Somehow, I don’t know how, but somehow I suddenly know that they are the ones after me. Why? What did I do? Or was it for my grandpa? No, she said she need ‘the young girl’. Why?
The time I wasted by asking these thought was to long, and the thin concealment barley helped me from the eyes of the suited men.
I turned to run, but my feet were confused as to which way they wanted and when they finally marked there path it was to late.
“Were do you think your going, little miss?” A pair of strong arms land on my shoulders, pushing me down to the fallen leaves and branches.
“Now, now, now, look what we have here, our fake princess.” It’s the cold voice of the royal and with my body on the ground, my head is turned away, so that my eyes don’t meet hers. My hand slowly scopes of the soft drown dirt and hard black pebbles.
“I’m no fake!” I quickly turn and aim my hand full of dirt at the pale face of the princess.
I hear her gasp in surprise and sharply twists her hand back as if to hit me. I’m ready to take to blow I know would sting. But she stops and lowers her hand and settles her cold gaze on me.
“Well, at least we know you can speak.” The princess sound on edge, I stand. When she notices that I’m a good three inches taller she tries, unsuccessfully, to look down at me.
“What do you want?” My voice rises and I glare down to her.
“Maybe you talk to much.” She growls at me. I don’t back down from her.
“What do you want?” I say again more forced I don’t try to be polite. Beth did’t care that she’s royalty, she insulted me and my home.
“That is for you to figure out.” That was the last thing I heard before a thick hand cover my mouth from behind. A cloth dipped in something that smelled sweet and bitter. Don’t breath in, Beth.
