I had to die in her stead. No one said anything about that.

"Beth? Beth? Beth?! Wake up!" My head was fuzzy....

"Oh my goodness, what happen to her!?" Was that Kate...? I'm so tiered I just want to go to sleep....

"Beth, please, wake up!" Something cold splashed on my face, but I was to numb to react quickly.

"No... Sleep...." Now instead off cold it was hot, burning on my left cheek, then my right.

"Wake up NOW!" Someone was shaking my body like a towel. "What did you say to her?" Her voice was farther away then before.

"Nothing, dear sister, nothing at all."

It was all to confusion to keep up with so I let my self be brought back to the coma from before.

~~

There was a noise to my right, snoring, I think. Someone was asleep. Beth slowly opened her eyes, raising a hand to block out the early morning sunlight.

I lend forward to quickly and my head started to pound hard. I winced, hissing at the pain.

Who ever was asleep beside me didn't heard it, my eyes darted to the person. Jaden.

He was more handsome when he is unguarded from others, peacefully asleep, emotions played on his face as he dreamed.

Brown-blonde hair laying across his forehead, eye lids closed over bright blue eyes I knew to be there. Strong face, tanned slightly from working out side.

A shadow of a beard shading his steady jar, a crocked nose, not to much but you can tell he has been in a fight or two and gotten his nose broken. Full lips with a slight rosy tint to them.

I sat there wondering what he dreamed of now, something bad, because his jar tighten and a line came in between his eyebrows.

His arms crossed over his wide chest, hands clenched, his lips falling into a frown.

My own eyebrows pulled togeather in concentration, in concern too.

Because he has been so kind to me, tried to save me from the Snake -Knelt- earlier today. Was it today, I don't even remember walking up to my borrowed room, I don't remember anything from last night.

In my moment of lost thought I didn't notice Jaden awakening till he stood up from his seat.

"Sorry if I woke you up, Bethany. I was just going." His eyes unsure if he really want's to do as he said.

Beth shakes her head, "No it's okay, you didn't wake me, I have been awake." Jaden smiles and sits down again, never letting his eyes slip past mine.

"Tell me," Jaden asks, "do I look as handsome as I sleep as you look beautiful?"  She laughed earnestly at his pun, he smiles at his result.

"No, you droll." She laughs as he quickly rubs his mouth for the non-existing droll. "Just joking with you Jaden, but you should have seen the look on your face!" We laugh some more till a knock came at the door.

Jaden becomes a serious and opens the door, the four gray dressed women file in.

"We are here to get you ready before you have to go and train." Train? Why would I need to train? The lady answers the question before I ask it.

"The King, says you need to be properly train to do you job." Beth frowns, the thoughts of escape seem father and farther away. Ever since I found out that I was going to die in the place of a snotty brat royal.
