Finally we made it the a large set of red wooded doors, two guards stood at each side, still and unemotional. Jaden stepped forward and spoke out to the guards.

“We are here on the behalf of the king, let us pass.” The guards nodded and opened the doors without a sound. The light spilled out of the doors opening almost blinded me at first, but after a few blinks my eyes adjusted well enough.

“Just in time, Sir Barkem, please bring the girl in.” The deep voice belonged to the king, his voice did not bring comfort. I noticed the room was entirely made of windows but the one wall with the main door where we walked through

“Sire, she has written the letter she requested.” There is a man standing at the window opposite us. The king.

“Very well, have it sent soon enough.” There is nothing but a seating area facing the front window, with a long floor table. Two foot tall wall shelves circulate the entire room.

I look out at the view and see nothing but a great blue and gray sea. It reminded me to much of Natasha’s cold eyes. My lungs almost stop working, there is nothing but sea around us. We are on a cliff.

I feel Jaden's hand squeeze mine, comforting me and I start to breath more easy. I never liked heights and the was going against my nature.

“Isn’t the view lovely, Miss Whells?” Beth forces the fear out of her voice when she replies.

“To gray for me.” The king laugh whole heartily and turns to face us.

“I love a person who is honest.” He walks to a settee and pats the space next to him, “Come sit, Miss Whells.” Not happing, I go to the settee farthest from him, the king doesn’t try to hid his disappointment in my choice of seating.

“Sir Barkem, you may leave now.” No! I almost say it out loud, but I hold myself still. Beth watches as Jaden meets her eyes and walks out of the room stiffly. Hating how vulnerable I felt without him in the room.

The seat under me is stiff from underuse, but I couldn’t relax anyway.

“So, Miss Whells, how do you like your suite?” The room I spent the night in was a pale yellow, with matching furniture. Which only included the bed, desk, night stands and various decor.

“It’s not my suite.” He tries to laugh again, but falsely.

“Your a cheeky one aren’t you?” I don’t say anything and I believe he doesn’t expect me to because he start talking seriously for once.

“Your training will stat today; during breakfast we will teach your proper mannerism and etiquette.” Can’t wait to get started. Not! He looks at me as if he knew what I was thinking.

“Come, lets go to the meal now.” I stood with him and let him walk out first. The guards closed the doors and followed behind me with query silence. We went down the long halls again till we came to a familiar set of greener colored doors. The doors were opened to the site of the dinning hall.

The first person I saw was Kate, when she sees me behind her father she gives a small sympathetic smile.

The other person in the room was Natasha, perfect. She gave no smile at all she just easily pretended I wasn’t in the room. Which was fine with me after the incident in the bathroom. She so weird.

“Morning Father!”

“Good morning, Father.” Kate said not looking happy or disappointed, just reading off at an essay. The king went to the side of the table and kissed his eldest daughter, then returning to the head of the table.
