Chapter 12 - The One Way To Kill

Mariana's Pov:

I watched Nick snap Luke's Nick. Nick was a monster. I know we lost are parents and he dosen't want to loose me to but seriously did he have to take it out on Luke my best friend. I can't take this right now. Its bad enough today has been just a bad day.  I ran home. I quickly locked my bedrrom door. I looked around my room to find where the old white woods stake was. This was the only thing that would kill me. See the white wood stake had a special power on it that if it went into your heart it could kill you. No one knows what happens but you just die instintally. I picked the stake up from under my bed. I quickly wrote a note saying that i was sorry. Its not like I wanted to make people suffer. I just can't deal with this anymore. I need to end this. I looked at the stake and then around my room. Im gonna miss this. Then i ramed the stake into my chest.

Luke Hemming's Pov:

There was a thud from upstairs. I looked at Michael and we both bolted up the stairs to Mariana's room. The door was locked so I had to kick it down. Thats when we saw it. Mariana dead on the floor well she is gonna come back so she isn't dead. I quickly called Nick. He came as quickly as he could. Nick came running into the room. he saw the stake and it looked like he knew something. He started to cry. "Whats wrong? She is gonna come back." He started to cry harder. "She isn't coming back Luke." Michael ran over to her body. He started to cry. I ran out of the house to the woods where Mariana use to hide when she was depressed. "Mari why? Why did you leave me? Please baby come back to me," I cried. I then heard someone enter the treehouse. It was Jack.  I almost forgot he was here. He was crying. I walked over to him and hugged him. "It hurts so much," he cried into me. "I know. It feels like im missing the other half of my heart." After awhile of crying Jack and me ended up falling asleep in the treehouse. Here we felt like she was still with us. It felt like we hadn't lost her. As i was bout to fall asleep i toke one last look around the old treehouse. It really calmed me down. It was a cool treehouse. I can see why Mari loved it so much. It was all wood. It had a rug and you could watch tv and charge you phone in hear. I felt sad again. I started to remember when we snuggled in here and watched netflix. THe feeling over her in my arms. Are bodies warming eachother. The smell of her perfume. The feeling she gave me. I was madly in love with her. I will never love someone like i loved her. She was my everything. With that thought I feel asleep.

Nick's Pov:

I couldn't sleep. I have no one left. Well I have Destiny but family wise I have no one. The castle isn't letting anyone take over. They said the scrool said no one could take over if Mariana died. I started to get sleepy but I could't sleep. I looked down at Destiny. She looked so adorable when she slept. I was thinking of making her my mate. I think that the world already made us mates. See Mariana didn't learn the one other thing about mates. Just because you sleep with someone that you love dosen't mean there you mate. The world choices are mates. My dad told me something before he died. He said son I want you to take this. He gave me a moon necklace. He told me that I would be the barer of the mates. He told me to see if the two are true mates that the male has to put it on the female. If the moon glows they are mates. If it dosen't they where not mant to be. See you only have one true mate. I toke the necklace from my neck and put it carfully around Destiny's.  The moon started to glow. I know she was sleeping but i whispered in her ear. "I guess we where meant to be."

Jack's Pov:

I woke up the next morning to domeone snoring. I sat up to see Luke on the other side of the treehouse snoring. I started to feel really hungry. I could feel mysellf changing. "Luke whats happening," i yelled. He jumped up. "Don't worry you just haven't eaten. Here lets go i can show you how to hunt." We climbed out of the treehouse into the woods. "Ok so what you want to do is sniff the air and see if you can catch a sent," Luke said. I sniffed the air quickly picking up a sent of a deer. "Nice catch but please tell me your gonna share," Luke said drolling over the smeel. We both then ran toward the smell turning into wolfs. As we approached the deer we walked slowly towards it. I then pounced on it and toar it apart. LUke and I both digged in. Soon the deer was gone and the bones where the only thing left. We both changed back into human form. "That was some good deer," I said as we walked back to the house. When we got back to the house we saw the pack placing Mariana in a coffin. They then placed the coffin in a brick thing outside of the house. "She was a amazing pack leader. She was also a goo friend. And as many of you now she was a kind loving person," Nick said giving a speach for his sister. "But also many of you know she had a hard life. She didn't want to live. She had a child, she had parnets. But those things where takin from her. And we are sorry for the lose of Alex. She wasn't a good person though. So lets now take a moment of silence for are fallen." Everyone went silent. Then Nick howled and we all howled with him. I couldn't take this anymore. She was a best freind to me. I know she lost her parents. I know she lost her baby. But why. Why did she do this to us.

2 weeks after Mariana's Funeral

Nick's Pov:

Its been hard for us all. But mostly Luke. Also i have been voted alpha for now intill the moon choices a new alpha. Also the 5sos boys came back from visting there parents. The whole pack is referring to me as the love guru. Yeah they found out that I could tell who the mates where. So far these where the mates.

Well turns out that Matt and Madison aren't mates. And Hayes and Giseya aren't either. Both girls are now crying messes. They didn't want to hear that. Oh yeah and me and Destiny are offically Mrs. and Mr. Foster. The wedding was a blast and i finally lost my virginity that night. Yeah that was embarresing to say to her. Also Nikki and Jc are getting married. Yeah he propossed after finding out she was his mate.

Unknown Pov:

I woke up in darkness. I could't move. I screamed for help. No one answered or came to help. I began to cry. Where was I?  Am I alive? I need help. I kicked my feet and heard something crack. I kicked again and again intill I could see light. There was moon light and it was shining on me. The moon has choosen its new alpha. I am alpha. Im to young though. I search around to see im in a yard. I can't remember what happened. I just remember my mom and dad. And me playing with my brother. I screamed out hopping for someone to hear.

Luke Hemming's Pov:

I woke up to a scream. It came from outside. I quickly ran outside to find a little girl that was about 8. "Whats wrong," i asked the little girl. "Im lost. I want my mom," she cried. I quickly called Nick. He came as fast as he could. He looked at the little girl and wasn't moving or speaking. "Nick whats wrong." "Its Its," he said but then passed out. The sun was coming up so I told the little girl to come inside intill I find her parents. Nick woke up as soon as i placed him on the couch. "Wow I had this weird dream about," Then he saw the little girl. He jumped back. "Whats wrong with you." "Thats Mariana." "How do you know my name," ther little girl asked. "Because im your brother Nick." She looked confused. "Wait how did she become so small. And how is she alive," I questioned. "The stake it must had done something." "How do we change her back?' "We go to the castle." Me and Nick quickly ran to the castle in search for Mer the great and powerful. "How did this happen, Mer asked. "She stabbed herself with the white oak stake." "Well there is a easy way to fix this problem. She has to change." We took Mariana outside and told her to get angry. She started to cry and scream in pain as she changed. Soon she was in wolf form. But this time her wolf form was black and she had her blue eyes. Then she changed into human form. She was wearing what she had on when she died. A white jersey and jean shorts with black vans. I ran up and hugged her. "Never do that again." "I won't i promise." Then Nick spoke up. "Sis your wolf form was black." She looked shocked. "Wait i have control of allt he elements." "Yep." "Wow." "Oh and did you want to know if Luke is your mate." "Wait what?" "Just cause you sleep with someone dosen't mean there you mate." I gave Luke my necklace and he placed it aroung Mariana's neck. It didn't glow.
