Chapter 9 - Dead and Alive

Mariana's Pov:

I woke up in the woods. My stomach was ripped open. Blood was everywhere. I can't remember what happened. All I know is the babay is probaly dead. Luke is gonna be devastated. He was so happy. My stomach started to heal. I curled up in a ball and started to cry. I didn't want to move. I stood up and walked towards the scent of my house. I walked in the door ignoring the questions of where I was. I just walked up the stairs and into my room. My cloths where torn and covered in blood. Luke came in. He looked at my stomach. "Is the baby ok," he questioned. All I did was cry more. He took the hint. He feel to the floor crying. "Whats wrong," Nick asked coming into the room. "Nick. I was pregnant." "Oh my god im gonna be an uncle." "Was gonna be an uncle," Luke cried out. "Oh my god sis. Are you ok," my brother said coming over to me and wrapping me in his arms. "It hurts so much," I cried into him. Then Ashton and Lexi came into the room. I hadn't told her I was pregnant either. I told them and Lexi hugged me and Ashton was trying to make Luke stop crying. Soon everything was back to normal. Well kind of. Everyone went home and me and Luke stopped crying. We where trying to move on. "How did it happen," Luke asked. "I have no idea. I just woke up in the woods." He nodded. He then put his arms around me and kissed my head. "Rest," he whispered. I nuzzeled into his chest. And befor I feel asleep I whispered, "It was a girl."

Lexi's Pov:

I howled. Everyone in are pack showed up. "Are alpha has suffered a lot. We need to protect her." We all howled together. "I have found a witch to make none of us die. We can all survive." The witch came out and started chanting her spell. She finished and then left. "Ok so well Mariana is greaving we need to take shifts on watching the house. So we need 8 people. So Luke, Jc, Destiny, Giseya, Callie, Merralisa, Trevor, and me. Everyone else go home and rest. We switch tomorrow." With that we all toke off. Luke and Jc guarded the front. Giseya and Destiny guarded the back. Me and Trevor guarded the right side. Callie and Merralisa guarded the left side. I was bored so I kept reading Trevor's mind. All he wanted to do is guard with Merralisa. "You know I didn't put you with her for a reason." "Yeah I understand." "You really love her. I can tell." He looked at me smiling and blushing. "Is it that obvious." "Yeah. And she really loves you." He turned his gaze back to watching. Then there was a sound. "What was that," Trevor asked. "I don't know." I pulled out my phone and texted Madison and Nikki and told them to go check the woods. We saw them take off. They soon came back with a brown haired boy with glasses and a blue haired girl. "What should we do with these two," Madison asked. I knew the blue haired girl. It was Mariana's friend Max. "Take them to the castle. Put them in the cell. I will deal with them tomorrow." They took off. Then there was another cracking sound. I texted Calum and Ashton and told them to go check it out. We watch them go into the woods and then come out with a girl with a half shaved head and boy with quiffed hair. "What do we do with them?" "To the castle. Put them in a cell." They toke off. Soon Madison and Nikki came back. As soon as they returned there was another crack. "Well get it," Nikki said. They dashed into the woods coming back with a black haired boy and girl. "Same place?" "Yep." They toke off again. Everything was quiet. The sun began to come up. Everyone went home for rest and now Luke was watching Mariana.

Mariana's Pov:

Last night 6 people where caught. Me and Luke headed to the castle. "Luke stay here." I walked into th holding room. "Well hello. By your faces I can tell you know who I am and what I can do." They looked at me. I could see they where scared. "Who is your leader." "I am. My names Derek," the black haired boy said. "Well Derek I need you to come with me." I opened his cell door and took him into the questioning room. "Ok so recently I was token into the woods and my stomach was ripped open. I lost my baby then. Was that you?" "Noo we never did anything to you." I read his mind. He wasn't lieing. "Ok your not lieing. Let me see your arm." He put his arm out. I bit it. He started to scream in pain. "Ok wait here I will be back." I left the room. "What did you do to him," the black haired girl yelled. "This," I said grabbig her wrist and bitting it. Soon everyone was screaming in pain. They where turning human. "You are all human now. You can choose to be in my pack or theres another choice." "Whats the other choice," a girl asked. I turned and saw it was Max. I didn't even know it was her. "Max?" "Yes Mariana." "The other choice is my pack is hungry." They all choice the pack. The room began to fill with screams again as everyone started to change. I released them all and gave each couple a house. I hugged Max. She hugged back. "When did you turn?" "When my boyfriend bit me. I miss you bestie." "Miss you too." "Is my mom still alive," she asked. Her mom was a maid in the castle. Me and Max always played when we where children. She hasn't changed much. "Yeah I will go get her." I went to ho get her mother and brought her back. "Max!" "Mom!" They hugged. "Im gonna go." I then took off. To much is happening. I no its not good but I snuck past Luke and ranto my treehouse for alone time.
