Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Bludger"Reject your sense of injury and the injury itself disappeared."
Quidditch Stadium
In the mid-game of the Quidditch match, all the stands roared in cheers as they watched the Slytherin Chasers, bent low over their new brooms, jet past the overmatched Gryffindors.
In the Gryffindor Stands, they all looked at the game furiously. "Gallopin' Gorgons! Slytherin's flying' like they got dragon fire in their brooms," Hagrid said. Ron fumed and looked as though he took Slytherin's dominance personally. He then took Hagrid's giant binoculars and trained them on the faculty box, where Lucius Malfoy sat next to Snape.
—
In the Slytherin Stands, Liv looked over at the faculty box and saw Lucius Malfoy sitting next to Snape. She rolled her eyes at his glum smile, she then looked back at the fields, but Draco flew over to the stands and flashed Liv a smile, which just made her glare at him. "Stop trying to impress me and win the game," Liv said in annoyance and Draco rolled his eyes before he flew off again. Liv looked at Roni, who was right next to her, and they smiled before they began to howler with the rest of Slytherin.
—
On the fields, Harry circled high above the pitch, searching for the Golden Snitch when suddenly, Draco stroke overhead. "All right there, Scarhead?" Draco asked. Harry turned and eyed Malfoy malevolently.
"You talk to my sister like that?" Harry asked.
"Of course not," Draco said.
Then behind Harry, a bludger dropped into frame, and began to strike towards his head. "HARRY! WATCH OUT!" George yelled and Harry wheeled to the side, then at the last possible moment, he slipped the whistling Bludger.
CRACK!
George swooped down and hit the bludger with his bat. Harry turned and watched it soar away, but then the Bludger turned and started to strike right back at him, and he jet off.
—
In the Gryffindor Stands, Harry's friends began to stare at the fields in worry. "Blimey, Harry's got 'imself a Rogue Bludger!" Hagrid exclaimed.
"Rogue Bludger?" Ron asked.
"Look fer yerself! It's bin' tampered with!" Hagrid said.
—
In the Slytherin Stands, Liv and Roni stopped their cheering when they saw Harry in trouble. He executed in a series of zigs, zags, loops and rolls, trying to shake off the Bludger, but the Bludger was relentless. Liv stared at her brother in worry before she looked at her friends in the Gryffindor Stands, seeing they were trying to fix what was happening to Harry.
—
In the Gryffindor Stands, Ron instinctively drew his wand, and began to point it toward Harry and the Bludger, when Hermonie's hand interceded. She glanced knowingly at his fractured wand. "No, stop. Even with a proper wand, it's too risky. You could hit Harry," Hermione said.
—
Back in the fields, as Harry frantically dipped and dived, with Draco cruising by. "Training for the ballet, Potter?" Draco asked then Harry glanced at Draco's sneering face. Buzzing inches about Darco's left ear was the Golden Snitch and Harry charged. Draco gulped, before he swinged clear, and watched Harry rocket past.
