Jug's POV
I got dressed into a grey t-shirt, black jeans, sneakers and my iconic beanie. I got on my bike (A/N moterbike) and drove over to Betty's house.
When I got there I texted her I was outside. I would have gone to the door, it's just that I am pretty sure her mom despises me... so.
Betty's POV
I was scrolling through TikTok (A/N like me) when I realized I needed to get ready for my date. I got dressed into

(A/N you pick the shoes) I had finished my makeup when I got a text from Jug. I was so scared the was gonna cancel on me.
When I opened the text a wave of relief washed over me. He didn't cancel, he was outside. I went downstairs and my mother was sitting in the livingroom. I tried to sneak out the front door but she caught me. "Elizabeth, where are you going?" "To Pop's with Jug." A look of disgust appeared on her face. "Why must you go parading around with him?" I was shooketh. Well not really, I knew she hated him but not that much. "Because he is my friend." And with that I left.
As soon as I opened the door I felt the cold air hit my skin making me shiver. I closed the door and walked towards Jug. When I got to him he looked at the back of his bike and said, "Hop on." I got on the bike and wrapped my arms around his torso and rested my head on his back. I then heard him chuckle.
I lifted my head and saw the bright neon lights of Pop's chock'lit shoppe in the distance and that was how I knew we were close. I started to get nervous and started yelling at myself in my head saying 'WHY THE HELL ARE YOU PANICKING NOW, YOU ARE ALREADY ON THE BACK OF HIS BIKE ABOUT TO ARRIVE AT POP'S!!!!!!!'
He helped me off his bike and opened the door for me. We walked over to a booth and sat down we made small talk until Pop came over and we ordered our food. (A/N me being me really wants food right now because of this.) "Hey Pop, I'll have a cheeseburger with onion rings and a vanilla milkshake." He took note of everything and then started to take note of Jug's order. "I'll have two cheeseburgers with large fries and a large strwaberry milkshake." Pop then left and Jug and I started talking. (A/N Well I mean they obviously started talking because it would be weird if they just sat there staring at eachother until there food came. Which would take around 27 minutes and that is only if it isn't busy. Trust me I have done the reasearch.)
"So how was your date with Toni last nigh?" He asked with a smirk on his face. "Well you know some guy came in and totally crashed our date, and get this, he brought me outside and kissed me while I was on a date. I told him he was as dumb as Archie, we then started laughing. He left and I went inside and finished my date with Toni, when we were leaving she kissed me. So... how was your night last night?" He looked kind of anoyed when I said Toni kissed me. "Well I asked you out and then went to Pop's. When I got to Pop's there was a beautiful blonde on a date with a pink haired girl. I sat down next to the pink haired girl and asked if I could talk to the gorgeous blonde outside. We then went outside and around the side of Pop's so we were out of veiw, I looked into her deep ocean eyes that anyone could get lost in and kissed her. She pushed me away and told me I was stupid but then we burst out laughing. I then watched her go back inside and left." By now Betty was blushing at the complements Jughead had given her.
After that their food arrived and they started to eat. She watched the boy across from her with wonder in her eyes, how could he eat all of that without getting sick. She was only able to eat her burger, oninon rings and half of her milkshake anything after that and she would have been sick. "What are you staring at?" he questioned. "Oh nothing." He just chuckled at her while she giggled at him.
Third Person POV
They finished their meals and got on the bike again, little did Betty know that their date wasn't over yet. Not that she was going to get kidnapped or anything.
"Jug where are we going?" the blonde asked the beanie wearing boy. "You'll see." When they started to get closer to the suprise Betty could see sand or dust, she couldn't see in the dark, being kicked up by the tyres. She then heard running water. She put two and two together and relised the were at Sweet Water River. "I putting a guess out there that we are at Sweet Water River, aren't we." As soon as she said that they stoped and Jughead got of the bike. "Indeed we are."
Jughead's POV
We walked over to the shore and sat down in the sand. I kept my eyes on Betty while she kept her eyes on the moon, the water and the trees. After a few minutes she closed her eyes and stated listening to the river. She rested her head on my shoulder and I put my head on hers. After a few minutes of listening to the river Betty started to talk. "Jug..." She picked her head up and looked at me which caused me to look at her. "Yeah." "I like you."
Betty's POV
He chuckled at me not getting the message. "I like you too Betts." "No, Jug I like like you." His face then went serious "Nevermi-" I got cut off from his lips being pressed on mine. I was so happy, he started to pull away. I then kissed back so he wouldn't pull away. He licked my lip asking for entrance wich I gladly accepted. His tounge roamed my mouth discovering most of it.

We pulled apart and I wispered "Wow." We both had smiles on our faces "I think I should take you home." "okay." We got on Jug's bike and went home.
"I just relised we are going to have to deal with the group because Toni probably said something but thank you for such an amazing night Jug." "No problem, talk to you later."
