Harry soaked his hand in Murtlap Essence, and he let out a moan of relief as his smarting hand cooled off. Ginny came over to sit next to him. When she saw his hand, she gasped. "Harry what happened?"
"Detention. But I'm alright." Harry told her quickly.
Before Ginny could say anything else, Ron and Hermione sat on the couch next to Harry's and Ginny's chairs.
"Harry," Hermione started cautiously. "We were thinking-" Ron made sound of protest. "Oh alright, I was thinking that we won't get anywhere with Umbridge's lessons. We're most likely to fail, and we need to be ready. Not just for our O.W.L's, but also for when we fight.... Vol- Voldemort."
Ron and Ginny winced at the name. Harry was shocked.
Hermione continued. "We need someone who can teach us- train us- how to fight him. I'm nominating you to be our teacher."
Harry blinked. Him? Teach?
"You, and Ron, and Ginny?" Harry asked. "Okay."
Hermione shook her head. "I meant anyone who wants to learn."
Harry frowned. "Hermione, I'm not a teacher.... I don't know how to teach. I can show you a few spells, but that's it."
"Harry, you've fought You-Know-Who at least four times since starting Hogwarts." Ginny said. "You're also really talented, and like Sirius said, you've dealt with a lot more than any of the adult witches and wizards have."
"Yeah, mate." Ron said. "You're the best option!"
"Even if I did agree to this, who would show up?" Harry asked.
"There are plenty of people who have started to slowly try believing you." Hermione said. "Listen, we'll spread the word, and we'll meet up at the next Hogsmeade trip. Whoever wishes to join, can come."
Harry nodded. "Alright, fine. If anyone shows...."

Harry didn't know who would show up, but he knew that Draco would be interested in it. So the next morning, Harry woke up early and got dressed, and then took his Invisibility Cloak, and made his way towards the dungeons. He stood outside the Slytherins' Common Room and waited.
From 7:00-8:30, everyone but Draco came out. Then at 8:32, Draco came out, smoothing his white blonde hair with an anxious look on his face.
"Pansy, you're absolutely sure I don't look bad?" Draco asked.
Pansy rolled her eyes. "Yes, Draco! Now let's go!"
Crabbe and Goyle lumbered behind them, and Harry felt an intense dislike form in his stomach. Their parents were all Death Eaters....
Harry hurried after them, and shouldered Draco, making him turn around and squint in the surrounding area.
"Draco?" Pansy asked, impatiently. "I want to actually have breakfast before lessons start!"
"You go on ahead. I forgot something." Draco said, walking back to the Slytherin Common Room.
Pansy huffed, and followed Crabbe and Goyle up to the Great Hall.
"Potter, where are you?" Draco called in the empty corridor.
Harry took the Cloak off, and Draco jumped back. They'd been way too close to each other.
Harry said, "Hermione and Ron came up with an idea of how we can learn Defense. Proper Defense. We're all meeting up in Hogsmeade. You interested?"
