"Let's end this, Off. Please, let's end this for me", Those same words that came from his favorite person are still giving Off the same pain. It's been two months now since he and his beloved boyfriend parted ways. It wasn't him who asked for it. God knows how much he loves his ex boyfriend but maybe they aren't really meant for each other.
Maybe.
Off is having the best moment of his life in a bar. It was his ex who introduced this world to him. He's not really into this type of environment- loud, full of smokers and alcoholic people. A type of environment where people go to expunge discomforts and set free their uncontrollable sanity. He's busy roaming around the club, talking and even flirting with everyone while he's handling a glass of alcohol. Looking at his state, he might go feral any moment now. But then tiredness and alcohol came to his system so he decided to take a rest. He sat down on a black cozy sofa and places his phone on the table in front of him. As he's sipping his drink he keeps on glancing on his phone hoping a call or a text from his ex. It doesn't matter to him anymore even if it's just wrong sent at least he knows that he still has his phone number, then when he sees none he pathetically smirked.
Minutes have passed, he stood up to go to the bathroom then he saw his phone brightened up indicating someone's calling. Excitement came to him- split seconds after- it gradually vanished. The call is not from whom he's expecting, as it is from an unregistered number. Off is not that person who answers calls from unregistered number due to his past scam experiences. But this time, it's different. There's an urge that pushes him to answer the call, and so he did.
"Hello, who's this?" Off politely asked.
"Hi Off, this is your ex's mom. Can you come to the hospital, it's about Gun." she replied.
It's not a question but a command.
Memories of his ex lover flush in his mind. Those happy, sad, and hot moments they have shared together that he misses so much occupied his mind. Then, the call ends just like his world. Tear fell down on his eyes, the glass he was holding was now shattered into pieces on the floor like his own heart. "Gun, Gun, Gun." his mind repeatedly said while ingesting the news he just knew. "Wait for me, Gun"
His hands are cold and trembling, the loud music of the bar was switched to the sound of heartbeat then a deafening silence followed.
Next thing he knew he is now in front of the hospital where Gun is confined. He doesn't know how and when he got there. But two things are sure- he's there because he is still inlove with his ex and he cannot lose him in this lifetime.
