This Feeling

Chapter 19

I woke up earlier than usual, did my morning routine and began preparing breakfast as I had an hour before school starts.

I told my parents that I made arrangements for them not to go to work and they weren't impressed at first but gave into the idea of getting a day to rest. I left a note telling them where the breakfast was after I finished eating.

I took my mom's Audi A7 TDI to school, even though I knew she would scold me when I came back. Oh well!

As I was driving to school, I felt nervous to see Ryan in a different environment. I was wondering if we were still going to have our swimming lessons or not. I was wondering how I should behave? I guess I will just have to follow his lead. 

On Friday he said we can have the 'get to know each other better' thing as a class today. I wondered what he will say if they ask about his love life. But for the reason that he asked me to be his girlfriend, I shouldn't be worried.

When I pulled into the school I saw my friends standing by my using parking spot looking rather irritated. Oh goodness!

"Hey guys," I said as I got out of the car.

"Where the hell have you been,"They said in unison like they had practised it.

"Can I explain during lunch, it's not something I can say in public," I said.

"You know you had us worried, even Toya didn't know where you were, you weren't returning anyone's calls! What is your problem," Riley shouted at me. Whoa, I have heard her shout a few times so this means she was really worried and now she is angry that I got her worried.

"I'm sorry guys," I said in a low voice.

"It's okay, just don't do it again and lunch you will have to explain everything!" Tessa stated.

Tori just nodded as a sign to say she agreed with Tessa.

"Yes I will guys, I'm sorry you were worried," I said.

"What!" They all said in unison after I told them about my weekend with Ryan in enough detail to satisfy them.

"Again you guys are asking for attention with those loud voices," I hissed.

"I knew it would happen soon, Zak and I even made a bet, guess he owes me," Tessa said excitedly.

"You guys what!" I asked. It was my turn to draw attention from the people sitting at a table close to ours.

"Yeah I bet that Ryan would finally ask you out because seriously who didn't see how attracted to you he was and Zak said he was too chicken and he would never," 

"I expected it," Riley mumbled.

"What do you mean by that?" 

"Come on, no hot guy like Ryan would overlook a hot and single girl like you," She said. "Now I understand why we all couldn't reach you this weekend, you were busy playing lovey dovey."

"Guys I'm scared though," I admitted.

"Let me guess, because you are dating your teacher even though you know its illegal," Tori whispered.

"Yes, I mean to me he is like any 21 year old guy. It's not up to me who falls for me and who I fall for, it's destiny," I said.

"Yeah, well just know that we will always support you friend," Tessa said.

"Yes," Riley and Tori said in unison and immediately turned to look at each other and burst out laughing.

"I swear Riley and I understand each other too much," Tori said with a grin.
