This Feeling

Chapter 16

It was 10pm when I checked my phone. Ryan was making me coffee whilst I sat on his couch watching cartoons. 

"Here you go," He handed me the coffee mug.

"Thanks," I said immediately cuddling with him after he sat on the coach.

After sitting there, talking about random things and cuddling I was feeling myself feel happy again(if that made sense). Something I hadn't truly been in a long time. It's so weird how we were so comfortable with each other. 

I came into realization that I needed to go home before Toya started worrying; especially since I hadn't texted her telling her where I was like I usually did. We needed to keep that flow in case the parents came back and we had to cover up for the other.

"I think I'd better go home," I said looking up at Ryan.

"What time is it," He said picking up his phone to check the time."Whoa, isn't that past your curfew or something, you can stay here if your parents are gonna kill you when you get home.

Chuckling I replied, "Don't worry about them, they in Chicago at the moment," 

"Okay, I'll walk you out," He said sitting upright and helping me up.

"Are you okay to drive?" He asked worried.

"Yeah, I'll be fine, see you at school," I said before leaning in for another one of the many kisses we've shared today. 

"Can't you just stay?" He pouted.

Ah how adorable!

"How about I stay over for the weekend," I suggested.

"You promise?" He asked.

"Yes, now I gotta go," I chuckled before pecking his soft lips.

"Bye," He waved as I got into my parents Mercedes. Toya will probably want to kill me when I got home since that's the only car we had with us as our parents took the other two.

"Where the hell have you been?" Toya said as she walked hurriedly down the stairs.

"Out," I said. I couldn't help but smile at that. Thinking about where and who I was with.

"Oh no, who is he," My sister asked knowingly.

"No-one, anyway, have you heard from mom or dad?" I asked changing the subject.

"Yeah, mom texted me saying they might be back next Sunday, but she isn't sure," She told me. "But that doesn't matter, why did you come in here looking all dreamy? And don't think I didn't notice  you changing the subject to mom and dad." 

"Goodnight," I said. I still couldn't help but sing a merry tune as I walking up the stairs to my room.

I woke up when I heard my alarm go off. I took my phone and quickly turned it off, that irritating thing. As I was switching it off I noticed I had received a text.

Hi sweety. Hope you and your sister are not killing each other there. We will be seeing you soon. We love you. Stay safe.~Mom

I couln't help but smile at the text. I really missed them pestering me about my grades and boys. I wonder what they would think of Ryan, because after the incident with my ex, Xavier, I think it will be super hard for them to trust another male that will come into my life and theirs. 

I quickly did my morning routine. As I was sneaking downstairs to get the car keys, Toya caught me," Yes you little sneak. You can take the car today, I'm spending the day with Liam," 

"You guys are back together?" I asked slightly shocked.

"Yes," She said unaffected by my lack of knowledge.

"Oh okay," I simply replied.

"The BMW is supposed to be coming back today anyway." She smiled." Don't come back late like yesterday."

I just laughed at that, "Of course I won't." 

I received a text on my way to school from Ryan.

Hope you slept well. ~R 

I couldn't help but smile like a retard when I stopped at the robot after reading the text. The people in the car next to mine looked over and frowned, probably because the corners of my mouth have reached my ears by now.

Pulling into the school entrance, I could feel butterflies in my stomach. Before I could even start daydreaming about him, someone knocked on my window.

I looked up to see Tori waving. I quickly got out of the car and hugged her.

"How are you?" She asked.

"Just fine," I replied.

"Good," she said."Wow girl, you look beautiful," 

I looked at myself and I found nothing amazing or beautiful about wearing black skinny jeans and a simple red top. 

"Okay, don't fuck with me Tori," I said.

"I'm serious, someone could swear you have a man in your life, you glowing," When she said that I immediately smiled.

"Let's go to class," I said to cover up my smile.

"No, stop changing the subject, was that a smile?" She asked.

"No, you just imagining things," I said.

"No, I'm not, Skye, are you seeing someone?" She asked excitely.

"Nah," I said simply.

"Okay! It's fine, I know you are." She grinned at me.

"Oh, gosh! Where are the others so we can test your theory," I said.

"They probably gonna arrive late," She said."Let's go to class."

"So no-one is supporting me on this?" Tori asked.

"No. I think, yes Skye looks hot but your theory of a boy making her glow is stupid. Trust me I would know if she had one," Riley said.

"Sure you would," I muttered.

"What!" They all screamed.

"Nothing, gosh you drawing attention," I whispered.

"Who is it?" Tessa whispered back causing the other two to laugh.

"Nobody, can we please change the subject." 

"Okay, but we will be back to this topic and next time you will confess everything," Riley warned.

After lunch I realised that I wasn't going to have Geography because it was Thursday. I know I've always loved Thursdays because I wouldn't be doing the subject but damn, I wanted to see him today. 

Because I was depressed, I decided to go to the parking lot when everyone was in class and I took my car and I went home. 

In the evening I decided to order take outs, because I knew that if Toya is back with Liam, she won't be coming home till morning. I'm just happy that they are back together because she was a wreck without him, just like I was when Xavier and I broke up. 

After eating and doing my homework I decided to get some sleep.
