Chapter 34
Skye's POV
Saturday morning and I was already missing Ryan. I had planned to have a day with my friends and an evening with my family as a way of catching up. I know I haven't spent a lot of time with them since I started dating Ryan but it was like in the last few months we had been together, he had become my best friend, my family and my boyfriend. He was just that amazing. It was so crazy how the love I felt for him didn't even measure to the love I felt for Xavier even though he and I were together for years.
"You ready to go?" Tessa asked as she finished putting on her make up.
"Yeah, almost," I replied as I put on some lipstick on my bottom lip.
"You guys, I got accepted to three universities already," Tori shrieked.
"Wow, well done babe," I congratulated her. I had received one rejection letter and two acceptance letter but the university I wanted to go to was just too far. I didn't want to stay in New York but I also didn't want to be away from my home and Ryan. I didn't want to have to take long flights just to see him every weekend cause that would be an even bigger challenge that we would have to overcome. It is a relief that after I graduate we can finally be public but with that complication gone, it had to be replaced with another cause that's just how life is.
"I got accepted to two," Riley announced.
"There is no surprise there, how many did you apply at?" Tessa asked.
"Three," She said, "Oh and Sean got accepted to the same ones as me.
"Well I only got one so far and I applied at five," Tessa sighed.
"Don't worry, they will come. Skye, what's going on with you?" Tori asked.
"Same situation as Tessa but, I accepted at NYU and the one in California and as good as that sounds, I'm still waiting for the others so I can make a good choice. I don't want to stay in New York but I can't be so far from my family here," I sighed.
"Are you worried about leaving your family or Ryan?" Riley raised her eyebrow.
"Skye, I think for once you need to think about what is going to be good for you. Your relationship will work out with whatever choice you make if it was meant to be. And I know for a fact that Ryan will support any decision you make," Tori said.
I simply nodded. "And we will also support all your decisions," Tessa smiled.
"Just don't go to a university in Europe cause I don't think anybody will support you on that one, I mean when will we see you?" Riley said and the others nodded in support.
"Guys, I'm not going to Europe," I laughed.
"Good. And we will see each other as much as we can and our love will never get lost," Tori said opening her arms so we could all come together for a group hug.
"I love you guys," Tessa said.
"We love you too," We all said in unison.
"Okay, no crying, we can't mess up our make-up," Riley said as a single tear betrayed her and left her left eye.

"Okay, see you guys Monday," I waved as they drove off. I couldn't sleep over because I was grounded and that sucked. I had to be home by 6pm so we could have the family night I planned with my parents and sister.
"Hey where are the parents?" I asked Toya.
"They have to work, the just got called in for an emergency. They really wanted to spend time with us," She apologised.
