Maggie did stalk his insta, even though she would never admit it. He seemed so nice and he was so cute. His posts were mainly nature and a cat. Then the unthinkable happened, Maggie liked one of his old posts, like an old, OLD post. Maggie let out an audible scream and threw her phone across her room. She couldn't believe she had just done that. What was he going to think when he say it? Would he think she was weird? Would he even talk to her anymore? Maggie calmed herself down and tried to go to sleep.

She woke up the next morning forgetting about the nights events. She got ready for school throwing on a pair of overalls with a pale pink shirt and her black high top converse. She was running late so she ran downstairs grabbed a granola bar and ran out the door. When she arrived at the bus a lot more people were there than yesterday. She still went to the back and sat alone. She arrived at school and went to English.

"I finished the summer reading, can I have the next assignment so I can get caught up?"

The teachers eyes got wide as she handed you the textbook and worksheets on the book.

Maggie continues all her classes until she gets to lunch and sits by Tess and her friends. There was Rory, he was one of the less popular jocks so he didn't hangout with the other jocks. Violet, the indie granola girl, she was probably the nicest girl Maggie had ever met. Bryce was the gamer of the group, always talking about things no one ever understood. Lastly was Harley, he was practically the girl version of Maggie, the quiet bookworm. They were a really odd group of friends but Maggie wouldn't change it for the world. She finally had friends, for the first time in her life. She had no intention of losing them.

Maggie was no looking forward to chemistry that day. Eli had obviously seen the notification so she was screwed. She walked into chemistry and saw Eli, sitting there staring at his phone. He looked up and smiled at her. She felt her face get all red as she smiled back. She walked over to the lab table

"Hey Eli"

"Hey Maggie, Mr. Nelson said that we are going to start this big project today and that we will most likely have to work on it out of class. So can I get you number so we can contact each other?"

Maggie's whole body went on fire as she nervously said yes and took Eli's phone from his hand and put her number in. After she handed his phone back she sat down beside him. Class went on as Mr. Nelson explained that the class would have to pick an element off of the periodic table and research it and make a very detailed model of it. Eli and Maggie picked Radium as their element.

As the bell rang Maggie packed up her bag and waved goodbye to Eli, he ran up to her and said

"Hey I have a volleyball game next Friday, I was hoping you would come and watch?" Eli scratched the back of his head nervously

"Um sure, that sounds like fun." Maggie said with a smile on her face feeling her cheeks turn red.

Maggie walked away heading to the bus and once she say down she felt her phone buzz

See you tomorrow :)
