TW//ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, AND SUICIDE please read with caution
Maggie woke up in her room, in her own apartment. After a month she was finally all moved in and settled in. She hadn't spoke to Eli since their fight, she didn't want to talk to him. She had gone back to school and her and Tessa had gotten really close. Upon returning to school she had asked Mr. Nelson if she could change partners for the chem project and he has agreed. She passed Eli sometimes in the hallway and he would always look her way and she would look down.
After school Maggie went home and went to her couch. She missed Eli, she missed the way he would hold her when she had nightmares and the way he made her laugh. But she would never admit it to him or anyone. She would watch his streams almost everyday. She had also invested in a PC herself and started playing minecraft. She was really enjoying playing it again. She thought about streaming, but no one would want to watch her.
Maggie was reading her book and had music playing in her headphones. She got hungry and ordered some Chinese food. After eating she went to her kitchen to put her dishes away when she dropped her plate on the floor, the plate smashing and Maggie's brain flashed back to the nightmare she made with Eli tied up and the gunshot that went off. She crumbled to the ground, shaking, she couldn't control her body. She began to quietly sob, her eyes flashing and she couldn't move. She was having a panic attack
Maggie hadn't had a panic attack in a long time. She used to get them a lot when she was younger. Everything and anything would set them off. When she was younger she struggled to anxiety and depression, it had gotten really bad. No one knew about her struggles. She wanted the pain to go away, and she knew how but she didn't know if she should start it again. She had been clean for so long. It was 3 am and she was so sleep deprived she wasn't thinking right.
She walked to her room and continued to sob. Crying so hard she couldn't breathe, she just wanted her mom. That was all she had wanted for months. She needed to talk to someone, anyone, but she couldn't tell Tessa, that was too much to put on a person at once. So she did the only thing she could do. She picked up her phone and dialed Eli, knowing he wouldn't pick up.
Hey Eli, it's Maggie. Umm...I am really struggling right now and and I just can't go on anymore. I miss my mom and not knowing what happened to her is driving me absolutely insane. And I am sorry for our fight, I shouldn't have yelled at you. I just miss you so much and this stupid cruel world is getting too much for me. I love you Eli, and I'm sorry.
Maggie hung up the phone and shut it down completely. She didn't need Eli to respond. She didn't want him too, there wouldn't be enough time. Maggie got up and walked to her bathroom and opened the cabinet. She looked at the melatonin bottle and took it out. She walked into her living room and sat on her couch and put on her favorite show. She wanted to at least be happy when it happened.
She took a handful out and just stared at them. Knowing what she could do and what would happen. But she wanted to see her mom again, Maggie doubted she was alive. She took the pills and swallowed them all. She chugged an entire bottle of water. She sat there for a while and started to get sleepy and dizzy. Than all of a sudden there was a loud bang on her door, she turned her head and looked at it. Another loud bang, one more, and than the lock on her door broke and the door flew open.
She only slightly saw the figure standing in her doorway before her vision went hazy and blurry. The figure ran at her yelling
Maggie? MAGGIE! Maggie what did you do!
