pacemaker [p. jisung]

삼십육; 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝙨𝙞𝙭

oh, not again. how many times does she have to write such things? seri's really getting on my nerves, jeonhae thought. she sighed as she ripped the notes off her locker and cumbled them before throwing them into the nearby bin. 

jeonhae opened her locker to take out all the books she needed, but there was too much for her to carry with only one hand available, since her shoulderblade still needs a little more time before it could be fully healed. despite jeonhae being considered as a girl with strength, she still struggled carrying her belongings with only her left hand, not to mention that she is right-handed, too.

now how am i supposed to carry all of this-

before she could finish her thoughts, half the books on her arms were lifted by none other than

mark lee.

"oh, mark! isn't your class in the opposite direction? you really don't have to help me..." she trailed off. the latter only shook his head and chuckled, insisting that he will go to his class after dropping off her books at her desk. "mark please, i could just ask jisung to carry them-"

"yeah, she's not wrong."

both heads turned to look at their backs, their eyes greeted by a jEAloUs-lOOkiNg park jisung. his eyes were cold and the glare burned through mark's head, making the older slightly intimidated. the younger didn't hesitate to snatch jeonhae's books from mark's hands without a second thought. 

"well, someone's in a bad mood" mark smirked. jisung could only roll his eyes before walking towards his first class, which he shared with the girl. 

"uhh hasta luego, mark" and she set off to catch up with jisung. "yah, you didn't have to act like that with mark, he's your hyung."

no response.

"you know, you don't have to ignore me, jisung."

still no response.

"are you perphaps, jealous?"

"no, i'm not" he answered almost immediately. 

yeah, he definitely is, but why? i talk to mark all the time, but this is the first time jisung butted in. something weird is definitely going on with his brain.
