Calum's P.O.V
"Dad?"
"Who's there?" His face was full of confusion and worry as his eyes scanned across the room.
And then it hit me.
He didn't love me.
We hadn't seen each other for almost five years of corse he didn't love me.
How could I of been so stupid?
I ran out of the room and slammed the door. I didn't care if he knew I was there. He wasn't worth my time when I knew he didn't care for me.
I ran out of the house and into the driveway.
I needed a lift home and calling a taxi wasn't a option.
I took my phone out of my pocket and quickly rang Luke asking if he could pick me up.
Within ten minutes his car wheels were scraping across the gravel driveway.
I hopped in the passenger seat and slumped myself down.
Ignoring his worried glances, "don't ask" were the only words I could string together.

Rosa's P.O.V
I heard the front door slam, making me jump out of my skin.
I got up from my desk and went to see who it was.
"Dad what was that?" I shouted down the staircase.
"I have no idea. I swear this house is haunted" My dad appeared from his office with a bunch of papers in his hand.
"I knew we never should've moved house, it was a bad idea from the start!" I stomped back down the hallway and into my room.
I must've sounded like a stroppy teenager but that was the last thing on my mind.
I slumped back onto my bed and picked up my phone. I was hoping to call Mark again. after our fight earlier we could really do with some bonding time.
I clicked his name and after a few rings he picked up.
"Rosa why are you calling, it's almost eleven at night!" His voice was thick with anger caught me off guard. Nevertheless I tried my best to stay calm as I didn't want a repeat of earlier.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to a concert with me at the weekend"
"Why would I want to do that?" As usual he was being short and snappy with me, while trying to avoid my questions.
"I thought it'd be nice, we haven't been out together in ages" I was being selective with my words because I didn't want to annoy him again.
"Yeah we have, I took you out the other day"
"That was almost a month ago! Please mark" I new pleading would work. It always does.
"Alright I'll come, you know i'd do Anything to make you happy darling" I couldn't help but smile. Mark could get angry sometimes but when he was kind it was the best feeling in the world.
"Okay, I've got to do my homework but I'll text you the times and everything tomorrow"
"Okay, bye"
"Bye"
~~~~~~
"Is it a left or a right?" Mark scratched his head for around the tenth time this minute.
I'm surprised he hasn't pulled his hair out by now.
We were almost fifteen minuets late to the concert and the traffic wasn't helping the situation.
Somewhere along the route we'd taken a wrong turn and ended up driving in the complete opposite direction.
"I think it's a left"
"Gods sake just give me that thing!" Marks hand flew over into my direction.
In that second a thousand memories flashed through my mind.
I instantly flinched away from his hand, but to my surprise nothing happened.
"Rosa. Did you think I was gonna hit you?" I looked over to Mark and saw that his eyebrows were arched up in sadness.
Instantly in they moment I felt like the worse person in the world. My stomach with twisting in every direction possible.
Mark had gotten angry with me before but he'd never hit me so I had no idea why I flinched.
"No I..." I had no way explain without bringing back dreaded memories. So I just looked down to my hands and fumbled with my bracelet.
"Babe you know I'd never do that too you"
"Yeah I know. Its just a natural reaction I guess" I tried to shrug it off as if it were nothing. "Anyway it's a left"
Throughout the whole car journey I felt Marks eyes burning through me.
No matter how much I wanted to tell him. Some things just have to stay hidden...
