Shawns POV:
I was curious as to why Teagan didn't want me to walk her home. I look out the window to make sure she gets home safe, but she turns the other way leaving me very confused.
I don't want to come off like a stalker after the wonderful night we had but I couldn't help but wonder where else she could possibly go at midnight.
I grab my phone and throw on my vans and walk out the door making sure to keep my distance so she wouldn't know I was behind her.
She walks about half a mile and stops in front of a dark grey house. I try and remember who lives here, the mailbox catches my eye with a last name written on it. The Millers.
And then it hits me this is Lucy Millers house, Teagans best friend. It hits me even harder when I hear faint cries in the distance.
I look to see Teagan crying? I've never seen her cry before. I take a step toward her but when I do she takes a deep breath in a starts to run.
Where? I couldn't tell you. Why? I still plan on finding out. I'm not giving up on her.

Teagans POV:
I knew this would happen if I came to her house. I broke down there at the end of her driveway.
I didn't know where to go. I didn't want to go back home but I didn't see another option.
I sneak into the house without any problems, all I see is my passed out mother on the couch, and my father no where to be found.
I quietly open my door praying I didn't wake up TJ. I fall asleep the second my head hits the pillow.
----------2 weeks later----------
Me and shawn have gotten very close. But not close enough where we know everything about each other.
Surprisingly I trust him. Whenever I'm around him I tend to smile a little more and think a little less.
Even though he's probably my only friend in school. Everyone else stays away from me. Why? I don't know the real answer but I have a pretty good guess.
Three girls come to my mind.
Jessica, Lauren, and Paige.
All I hear as I walk down the hall.
"It's all your fault their gone."
"If it wasn't for you they would still be here."
"You little self centered bitch you didn't deserve them."I've gotten use to the names I get called in the hall. I just ignore them as I keep my head down walking to class.
I never used to be like this, quiet and shy. I used to be loud and fun to be around, but that was when I had Lucy and Matt by my side.
Now that there gone I stand alone. I face the whole world by myself.
------------------------------------
"Hey wanna come over after school?" Shawn asks with excitement.
"Or we could leave now?" I smile at the thought of leaving school.
"Let's go" he smirks. We run to our lockers, I grab my penny board and meet shawn by the front where he already has his board.
The front desk lady see us and rushes towards us as we sprint through the door making sure to flick her off before we leave.
We get to Shawns house about 15 minutes later. We've been coming here almost everyday after school so I feel pretty welcome here.
Even though nobody is home. We head to his backyard where a giant pool sits waiting to be used.
I lead shawn over to the edge of the pool and before he realizes what I'm doing I shove him in.
"TEAGAN" He screams in a high pitched voice. I'm on the ground laughing until I feel two wet arms wrap around my waist. Shawn throws me over his shoulder and we fall into the pool together.
I think it's times like this I missed the most.
After about 30 minutes of rough housing in the pool we get out and dry off.
I didn't bring any extra clothes, I'll just borrow some of Shawns.
"Shawn do you have any clothes I can borrow?" He gives a small smirk when I say that. He digs through his dresser and pulls out a pair of his boxers, sweats and a plain black t-shirt.
I go to the bathroom and change. I look at myself in the mirror and realize my scars are showing.
I take a deep breath ready to face all the questions that are going to be asked.
But the weird thing is I'm ready to tell him.
I guess I just needed someone to talk to.
No one was there.
But now I have shawn.
