-i feel like as much as he'd rather not be this sort of person he's just always a little awkward when it comes to comforting people, no matter how close he is with them
-if you're just a bit down he'd try and distract you
-however, if there's visibly something wrong or you're crying he probably wouldn't try and push you to tell him as that might just make you spiral into a breakdown unless you choose to just tell him without him having to ask
- i feel like seeing you cry might also make him panic a bit which would just make it harder for him to properly express his concern and would stumble over his own words
-while he's trying to calm you down he wouldn't say anything other than the odd "breathe, it's okay"
-he probably says it like twice though
-the whole situation would just be more physical, like he might rub your back gently or let you lean into his side and put your head on his shoulder (also because he doesn't want to make it seem like he's not interested in helping)
-even though you would be sat in silence, his presence alone would be enough to calm you down even if it's just a little and i guess it's just his way of saying "i'm here for you"
-after you've calmed down and you choose to do something else he'd probably ask what happened as you'd be calmer and in a better headspace

-now i know this might sound a little weird but my friend does it and it's lowkey cute and to me it just feels like something he'd do because he's a whole giraffe ✋
-and i feel like he wouldn't just do it in one certain scenario like probably different ones
-but it's always from behind
-for example, he might come up behind you while you're putting something in your locker and he'll just put his chin on your head as if to say hi
-when he's getting tired he'd probably do it too
-maybe when you and the party have been hanging out all day long and you've stopped somewhere he'd just rest his chin on your head
-he might also rest his arms on your shoulders like a loose hug
-or sometimes he might just do it randomly
-for example if you're at school but you're talking to someone else he'll just walk past, do it and carry on

-now, speech wise it would probably be certain phrases you say
-now obviously i can't speak for everyone who reads this because something someone might say is probably something someone else wouldn't

-he probably wouldn't do it as a daily thing but when it's the right moment to quote you or say something you would he always takes the opportunity if you don't
-even if you're not there, he'll say it in the conversation with the other losers and then add
-"...as y/n would say" probably with a stupid smirk on as well

-he probably called you it once without realising and when he found out that you didn't mind he was like mhm ok this is your name now❤️
-theo probably teases you about that one
-he also probably calls you by your surname sometimes but not very often
-he did that more when you guys had just become friends

-he feels like calling you by your actual name feels a bit distant considering the fact that you're so close

-i definitely think being friends with miles means you've probably been friends with him for a long time, he doesn't seem like the sort of person to want to make new friends when he goes to school or if he meets someone new so he just sticks with the people he's got left
-and i also feel that he's gotten very comfortable around you
-i don't think he'd do this all the time but there are little moments when he'd be like ✨mwah✨
-for example:
~ when he has to say bye to you and he probably won't see you for a while, boarding school sucks ass but his dumb self shouldn't have gotten himself expelled✋🙄 so when you say goodbye he just kinda grabs your face and pulls it a bit closer to him and kissed your forehead. he probably does it when no ones around though because he knows that flora would probably be like OMG YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH HER 👉
~ when you're upset obviously 🧍‍♀️ he'd pull you into his side and wrap his arms around you and just give you the odd little kiss to try and make you feel better

crying when you cry
-now LET ME SPECIFY-
-it's not like every single time you cry he's like "oh fuck 😭😭😭😭"
-like if you just let a few tears slip he'll just feel awful and he'll try everything he can to make you feel better
-and when you're stressed and you just let out a few angry tears he wouldn't either
-but when you're full on sobbing and crying your eyes out he cannot stand seeing you in that state
-wether you're angry at something, dealing with more stress than you can handle, literally anything that would cause you to cry like that his eyes well up
-and it's not like he full on bawls when you cry
-but definitely feels that little sting of tears coming into his eyes and they well up
-he just hates seeing you upset or in any sort of negative state
-he will literally run to pull you into him and give you a hug as soon as you start crying
-he just wants to be happy all the time <3
