}{}{ Hinata's POV }{}{

I had gone into the cold clubroom, undressing and getting warm clothes on. Slipping a large hoodie I had bought myself over my beaten body with long, comfy fitting sweat pants over my bruised and aching legs. I walked out, allowing Kageyama to slip by me, walking down the stairs I left. I didn't know why, but I did. I felt like there was something I needed to do. Pulling the large hood over my head, walking out of the school grounds. I biked down hills, over roads and train tracks, through rice fields until getting to the dreadful, steep hill my house perched on. I walked up the hill, going as quickly as possible. I opened my gate, tossing my bike onto our fence, shutting the gate, and running inside. "No. No." I said softly, seeing my father standing there. His drunken smile as he reached for my mother. "OI FUCKER! GET THE HELL OUTTA MY HOUSE, YOU AREN'T WELCOME," I raised my voice, seething with anger.

"Little boy, this is MY HOUSE. You don't disrespect the man of the house," He walked over, raising his arm; I closed my eyes, tensing. A moment later, I could feel blood ooze out of my nose as a burning pain came from the side of my mouth and nose. Wiping the blood off my skin, I looked at him with a glare, "Done yet?" I said venom laced my words. "Not even, little bitch boy." "Come at me, old ass," I growled, my mother, sobbing as she held my sister, "Shoyo, no! Please stop, Hiromichi!" My mother pleaded as my sister sobbed into her dress. My father threw the first punch, I dodged but got a kick to the stomach. I fell to the ground, gripping my stomach as my father grabbed my chin, slapping and punching me. The wounds healed quickly, mild damage here and there. I stood up, dizzy from everything, my vision slightly blurred. I threw one punch. It was all I needed. Veins trailed to the top of my skin; power rushed through my arm as I landed the strike, knocking my father to the ground as blood drizzled down his wrinkled cheeks. "Get out," I said, wiping the old man's blood off my arm, keeping my sister and mother safe. Hiromichi stumbled to his feet, holding his most likely broken nose, and scurried off, getting into his car and driving drunk. I walked over to my mother and sister, hugging them. I was the man of the house. This was MY territory. And I would protect it with my life.

I grabbed my now asleep sister, helping my mother to bed, placing Natsu with her. I wiped my mother's tears, placing a soft kiss on her forehead. I walked down the hall to my room, grabbing my phone and bookbag. I sighed, looking at my sister and mother once more, giving a soft, genuine smile. Thinking of the things my father could have done to my mother. I am glad she's okay, at least. I placed my shoes on, tapping the toe part of my shoes on the tile as I closed the door. I checked my phone, 7:08 pm Is what the phone screen read. I groaned, placing my phone in my bag, grabbing my bike, and biking off. I biked for hours on end, not really knowing where I'd end up. Checking my phone every once in a while, the time ticked away as I biked. I didn't feel tired, cold, sad, or angry. I had finally made it to a big city, realizing I was Tokyo. The multi-colored lights that hit the pathway and the sound of cars driving past was nice. I stopped just before I made it into the city. Locking my bike to the rack outside the bus stop, I started to walk off, taking photos to remember my location. I was too focused on my phone when I accidentally bumped into someone. I looked up, seeing a tall male with a soft smirk on his face, his hair looking like a rooster, and a smaller, cat-like male. His two-toned hair and cat eyes. "Ah! Sorry, I wasn't paying attention," My voice cracked, and my eyes were red from crying while I biked. "You good shrimpy?" The tall male asked, his smirk faded as he looked at me with concern. "Not really, but y'know, who cares?"

I said, rubbing the back of my neck, my pupils shifting from lines to orbs. "You don't look from around here," The two-toned hair male said, finally taking his gaze off his PSP. "Ah, yes, I don't." "Where do you live?" The tall male asked, shifting his body to face me. "Oh, I live in Miyagi," Both boys looked utterly shocked; Miyagi was around 3 hours if you didn't have a car, or an hour and a half by bus. "How'd you get here?" The larger male asked, "Oh, I biked," I fiddled with my fingers, my body wasn't cold, and I was in a light jacket and a t-shirt. "Huh?!" Both boys exclaimed, catching me off guard. "That's like uh- 4 hours by bike?!" The tall male exclaimed. I was also shocked. "Oh, I didn't really notice," "Shorty, what's your name? I'm Kuroo, and that's Kemna," Kenma gave a little nod, focusing on the game. "I'm Hinata Shoyo," Kuroo looked down at Kenma and back at me. I was lowkey, baffled at the moment, waiting for someone to speak up. Both boys looked at me as a bus passed by, the shadow cast upon me as both boys flinched; I didn't know why, but I realized my eyes had changed, glowing the gold-ish yellow.

I closed my eyes as the bus skidded past; the sound of the city was very overwhelming. "Well, I'll be off; it was nice meeting y'all," I gave a small smile before returning to a more neutral face. "Shoyo, can I have your Twitter, If you have one?" Kenma asked. I nodded, giving Kenma my handle, and walked off; I saw the notification that Kenma and Kuroo had followed me. I continued to walk, knowing they were worried about me, but I didn't give it a second thought. I had made it to the roof of a random building, watching the stars cast upon the empty sea of the sky. My hands hung over the railing, watching the sky turn luscious colors of blue and purple, watching as the stars grew more visible. I could hear faint sirens in the distance and the roof door swinging open.
