}{}{ Nishinoya's POV }{}{

Damn it, legs, run faster! I panted, tears pricked at the sides of my eyes as I ran through the forest, being pursued by our once little ray of sunshine. Hearing the tiger's roars and growls kept me running for my life; I didn't want it to end here. Shit no!! My shoe caught in a vine, sending me flying down the hill at a high pace. I managed to stop myself, dragging my hands through the dirt only to be laying on my stomach backward. I managed to push myself over onto my back, head aching, and blood trailed down my face. Well, shit.

I thought, seeing the tiger in my face. I looked and felt utterly terrified. Saliva threaded from Hinata's mouth, dripping onto my face. I could feel the deep and hot breaths on my face. Is this where I meet my end? I'm sorry, Kiyoko, I couldn't protect you... Live on Tanaka, my bro! Keep Kiyoko safe for me. Thoughts piled into my head as I blurted out, "I don't want to die! I haven't told my crush I love him!" Tears flowed down my face, mixing with the stream of blood from my forehead. I saw the tiger's jaw launch for me, feeling his hot breath around my neck. I closed my eyes; my entire life flashed before my eyes. I felt the hot breaths lift from my neck; I opened my eyes to see Hinata; eyes widened as he realized what he had done. I sat up, bursting into tears.

 They were tears of pain and fear. I watched as Hinata ran off, disappearing into the forest. "Hinata, wait!" I tried to call for him, but to no avail, he vanished into the forest. I wasn't badly injured, mostly scratches here and there. I stood, walking down the hill, wiping the blood and tears from my face. Walking out of the shrubs and foliage, I ran to Asahi, hugging him as I cried. He hugged me back as I cried, shaking. "Where's Hinata?" Asahi asked me as I looked up at him, tears running from my eyes. "He- He vanished. He almost bit me, and then he vanished," I wiped my tears away, sitting on the dirt. I looked into the thick forest, questioning where the boy had gone. "Well, let's search then!" Kageyama said, looking up as the sunlight died down. "We have flashlights at the club room, let's go search for our boy," Kinoshita spoke, as we all got up and walked to the school, locking the club room and gym up and went to begin our search for Hinata in the dead of night.
