Hinata sat there, pleading for a word to be uttered to break this tense silence. Hinata scratched the back of his neck, looking at his team. Suga dared to utter a word, "Hinata, we're worried about you," Hinata tilted his head, looking at the team. The often, "yea," circled around the team. "I don't get why, Suga," Hinata spoke, looking at Suga. "You look devilishly pale, have no color in your eyes, you are quiet, that's worrying!" Ennoshita spoke. "And you randomly sent out that scary tweet and vanished for hours! I went to your home, but your bike wasn't there!" Suga said, confusion held onto his words as he spoke. Hinata sighed, twiddling his thumbs. "Look, we're worried, Hinata. You've come in every day this week looking dead," Asahi spoke in a soft tone, watching the expression shift on Hinata's face. "It's just a loss of sleep," Hinata said, looking up at the team; the dark purple bags under his eyes grew very day that week, skin sinking in his eyes sockets. "Oh? A loss of sleep making you lash out?" Kageyama sneered, venom snuggled into his words. "Fine? You wanna know what is going on?"

Hinata asked, scowling at them. "Yes!" Erupted from the team, echoing in the gym. "Fine. My father is a low life drunk, and he came home a few days ago; I managed to get him out but not without a few blows. He came back last night, and I broke his nose; I don't know when he'll come back, but my mom and sister are scared. Then I took a bike ride, I happened to end up in Tokyo, and I met some really nice people and stayed with them. They were my age, and they came to me when I tweeted that. There? Happy?" Hinata sneered, crossing his arms. "How did you end up in Tokyo, Boke?!" Kageyama spat; a bike ride from Tokyo to Miyagi was around 4 hours. Hinata shrugged, refusing the answer the question. "How are you so unscathed, Hinata?" Noya asked. He was quickly backhanded by Suga, rubbing the back of his head. "I'm not," Hinata grabbed the hem of his shirt, taking it off and placing it on his lap. Bruises and scratches, scars and burns laid across his body. More and more bruises and burns laid on his body from the night before. "There. Happy?" Hinata tugged the shirt over his body, crossing his arms again. The gym fell silent once more, chattering amongst themselves. Hinata stood, running his fingers through his soft, fluffy orange hair.

Yamaguchi stood, walking over to Hinata, placing a hand on his shoulder. Hinata looked over, setting his arms to his sides before Yamaguchi grabbed him and held him in a tight embrace. Hinata was shocked, processing the sudden hug before melting into the embrace, resting his head in the crook of Yamaguchi's neck. He had never felt so warm in a hug; tears pricked at the sides of his eyes. Yamaguchi stood there, running his hand through Hinata's soft hair; it smelt of Daisies and a tint of alcohol, lacing the strands of hair. Tears melted down his rosy cheeks, running down his soft jawline, making contact with Yamaguchi's shirt. His knees felt weak, slowly descending to the floor, Taking Yamaguchi with him. Hinata couldn't remember the last time he cried into someone's arms; It had been years. His mother was always working or preoccupied with his little sister.

Yamaguchi whispered sweet nothings and sentimental words that made Hinata cry harder, wrapping his arms around Yamaguchi, shaking. Yamaguchi pulled Hinata into his lap; the small boy wrapped his body around Yamaguchi's torso, clinging onto him for dear life as he sobbed into his shoulder. The team let Yamaguchi handle the emotions; he was like the second team mom. Suga was good for pep talks and love advice. But Yamaguchi was the best at emotions. The words Yamaguchi uttered into Hinata's ear swirled in his mind. The words, "You're home, Hinata," calmed the boy who never had a good home life, so he never called the house he lived in "Home," But he found a place where he could call home.

He was safe, where he was happy, where he was loved, the crying slowly died down, and Hinata was fast asleep. He had passed out around 30 minutes ago, leaving Yamaguchi looking for help as the small child slept in his arms like he hadn't slept in a week. Asahi walked over, grabbing the small sleeping boy, and walked over to where a mat was laid out for him and two hoodies acting like pillows. Hinata, still asleep, wrapped his body around Asahi, clinging on. Asahi looked for help, only to get cackles from his teammates. Hinata let go once he was laid onto the mat, curling up into a little ball. The rest of the team checked up on him once and a while, continuing practice and contemplating what they should do about Hinata. A few hours later, Hinata woke up, tears streaming down his face.
