A/N: so, idk how well this is going to follow the main storyline, cause I'm kinda just trying to rush through the rest of this book.

"No!" Newt yells trying to grab you, Minho rushes in with you, and you two run into the burning building.

"Alby!" You hear Minho shout, he runs over to his body and you two started carry him out.
The smoke began to fill your lungs, and you momentarily let go of Alby to cover your face with something, and Minho continued going. You had to look for the maps.
"Lia! Get out!" Minho shouted.
"The maps!" You yelled back.
"Don't worry, their safe! I'll explain later!" He replied.
After a moment you started to go over and help Minho, when a large piece of wood fell onto you.

Everything went black...
You heard faint noises, almost what sounded like Newt's voice, but you couldn't quite place it...

You woke up in a bed, your in the Med hut.
You sit up and see Alby on a bed close by.
Then a large amount of regret and guilt fills your body when you see Newt sitting on a bed, Clint cleaning up burn wounds.

He winces in pain, and his body tightens, "sorry, Newt. I know it probably hurts a lot, these are some pretty bad burns..."
His shirt is on the floor with burn holes in it.

Newt looks over at you, and you could tell by his face, he could see the guilt in your eyes.
"Hey, Clint?" Newt asked.
"Yeah?" He responded.
"Could you give us a sec?"
"Sure..." He says putting some stuff down and leaving the room.

Your eyes fill with tears as they slowly fall down your cheeks.
"Your hurt..." You whisper.
"I'm fine, it's just a few burns."
"Why'd you do it? Why'd you follow me?"

"I had to save you, I couldn't let you die..."
"Everyone's life would be easier if I did."

"You don't get it do you?" He says in a more raised tone.
"Get what?" You ask.
"You're the only reason I care to live right now! If it weren't for you, I'd, I'd, well I wouldn't be here. That's for bloody sure."

"I love you... But, I don't know if I really do... The main reason I wanted to avoid you is because I can't understand my emotions, they all feel fake, like I don't really own them... And being around you is hard, you love me more then I could ever, and all I do is hurt you, or make your life more difficult."

He gets up and sits next to you.
"Does this feel real?" He asked leaning in and kissing you ever so softly.
When you pull away you look at him,
"Yes, it feels real. What I feel, it's real."
"Now, can you stand? I want to show you what Minho had me do." He takes your hand. You nod and walk out with him.

Of course Clint tries to stop you and say your not well, but you ignore him, you can hear him mumble under his breath,
"What's the point, if everyone is going to ignore me, why even try..."

Newt takes you over to the weapons shack, and brings you inside.
"Why are we here?" You asked.
"Just wait." He takes you down some stairs into a secret room you didn't know existed.
In the room was Minho, Thomas and Teresa. Ugh I hate her.

"Oh, Lia, good. So as you can see, Newt was able to keep the maps safe." Minho says hugging you.

"Yeah, what have you guys figured out?"

"Well, I don't know what this means, but we've found this," Thomas says handing you a paper.
On the paper it says; FLOAT, CATCH BLEED, DEATH, STIFF, PUSH.

"Ok, maybe it's a code, like to input somewhere."

"That's what we thought, and me and Thomas might know where to input it." Minho explains, standing very close to you.

"Do you remember the cliff?" He asks.
"Yeah, why...?" You ask back worried.

"Well, there's a secret hole in it. And I think we could jump through it. But I also think it's where the Greivers come from."

"That seems dangerous. Like suicide."

"But it's our only way out. Unless you want us to stay here." Teresa says like you want to kill everyone.

"Why would I want to stay here?! You think I don't want to try this out! I just don't want anyone else dying!!"
You get close to Teresa.

"I'm just saying, your not trustworthy. We should do it."

You may have lost it there, your fist connected right to her nose.

"I can be trusted!" You shout running into the Deadhead.

Maybe punching her wasn't the way to show I'm trustworthy.....

"Lia! Where are you!?" I heard a familiar accent.

"Here..." You whisper to him.

"Lia, are you okay?" Newt is truly perfect.
"I'm not the one that got punched. Maybe I'm not trustworthy."

"Don't say that." Newt comes and sits by you.

"We're going to try and escape tomorrow. I want you to come."

"I will."

After that Newt left to gather supplies and figure everything out.
Chuck came and sat with me, I pulled him into a huge and we stayed in silance.
