Today is the day that we are surprising Jermey with Caro. It's about two hours before everyone is supposed to get here which means we have an hour before Jeremey is going to get here. Carolynn and I have spent all day hanging out. We went to the gym this morning and then we went out to brunch. Now we're in my room getting ready.
Carolynn: How should I surprise him?
Emily: Well I was thinking because Jeremy is always late he is going to walk in saying something like "Hey I'm sorry I'm late" So I can answer and say " The only person that matters is here already so don't worry. And that statement should confuse him so I'll lead him into the kitchen where you are waiting
Carolynn: Wait that's actually a good idea
Emily: Thanks.
After an hour we finished getting ready so we went into the kitchen and we were waiting for Jeremey to come. Charlie was acting weird today but I brushed it off as he was letting me have girl time with Carolynn. He came out and sat in the kitchen with us and we all talked for 20 minutes before Jeremey got there. When the doorbell rang I got up and opened the door.
Jeremy: Hey! I'm sorry I'm late
Emily: It's cool your the only one here
Jeremey: What do you mean I'm twenty minutes late
Emily: Well actually your forty minutes early, but it's ok because the only person that matters is here
Jeremy: What do you mean
I walk into the kitchen with Jeremy and that's when he sees Carolynn
Carolynn: Hey babe
Jeremey: OH MY GOD!! Baby what are you doing here
Carolynn: Well, I wanted to come to see you plus I wanted to meet the girls in person
Jeremey: Honestly Emily, Best surprise ever.
For the next forty minutes, I hung around Charlie because I wanted the couple to have some alone time together.
