(Quick authors note: CHARLESSSS

that's it that's all I wanted to say k bye)

Charles woke up to find his boyfriend already missing from the bed. He rubbed his eyes, threw on some clothes and went to go wake up Donovan. On the bedroom door there was a little note taped to it, but he couldn't read it.

He forgot his glasses.

After retrieving his glasses off of the nightstand he read the note.

'Saw you sleeping peacefully and didn't want to wake you up, Don't worry, I took care of Donovan, and I left some coffee in the microwave. ~K'

His boyfriend was a nerd, albeit a very sweet one. He made his way to the kitchen and downed his coffee, it was pretty bitter but he had gotten used to that considering how hard it was to import decent coffee beans to Desert Bluffs Too.

He sat down at the table and turned on his radio. Kevin was just starting the show.

"-Is a Miracle! Good morning Dessert Bluffs Too!"

He smiled and stuffed the radio in his pocket. Always energetic that beautiful man was.

He had just grabbed his keys to drive to the church when his boyfriend stated some interesting news.

"Locals report a large, triangular statue was unearthed from a sand dune in the sand wastes, not much else is known about this, but we will continue to update you with new information soon."

A statue? This could be of Theological importance. He figured he would take a detour and check it out.

He turned off his portable radio and turned on his car radio and pealed out of the driveway.

Soon enough, he was at the edge of town. He got out of his car, since it was desert out here he had to walk the rest of the way. He turned his portable radio back on.

"-And if my darling Charles is listening to this right now, maybe he could pick up some milk later? We're almost out."

He chuckled to himself. Dork.

The statue wasn't hard to find. It was triangular, yes, but there was more to it. He took out the pocket knife he always kept with him and began to unearth the statue.

A few hours past, and after a long time of scraping and sweating and sand it was done. He looked at the stone statue and began to take notes. The stone looked carved, but it's color and material looked nothing like any stone that was typically used for carving. The statue itself actually looked like some kind of anthropomorphic Eye of Providence, with a top hat and bow. It actually kind of reminded him of Kevin in some way. Maybe it was the pose. He made a few more marks about posing, possible ties to religion and things of that sort.

He decided he wanted to bring it back to Desert Bluffs Too. He grabbed the hand and-

Blue fire shot across his arm, it didn't hurt, in fact it was actually a little colder, but the shock of this sent him reeling.

"What in the name of-?"

The stone fell away and a yellow and black version of the used to be statue floated just above the crumbling stone that used to cover it.

"Oh Gravity Falls it's good to be back!" The being looked around with its singular eye.

"Ok, so, Not Gravity Falls..." It turned to Charles, whom of which he still locked hands with.

"Hey you in the lab coat-"

"-It's not a lab coat!"

"Yeah well I don't care, Man in the jacket or whatever that is, where are we?"

"Desert Bluffs Too...? Hey look could you let me study you, you see I'm a Theologi-"

"Lookie here Mr. Theology, you talk too much, now I must thank you for Re-animating me but I have a world to take over thank you, and wow, thanks for volunteering to be my puppet."

"What?!"

Before he could get another word out, his conscious was ripped from his body, and the demonic triangle slipped in, he looked down at his own body from above. His eyes were now yellow and slitted beneath his own glasses. The being smiled in his body.

The being took a few uneasy steps, then looked around confusedly, before looking down and taking the radio out of his pocket. It laughed and looked at Charles' floating Spectre of a body.

"Your Boyfriend, Kevin, is it? I think I would like to meet him."

(Authors note: excuse my language but Charles is not very shy when it comes to cursing)

"You son of a b***h! Don't you dare touch him!"

Charles attempted to lunge, to the best of his ability, at the being's, and by extension his, throat, but missed and flailed wildly. Floating wasn't as easy as it looked. It laughed again at his futile attempt and tossed him the radio.

It drove back to his house, recklessly swerving. All Charles could do was hope that Kevin noticed something was different about him, and take himself and Donovan as far away as possible.

Hours past, the being chose to sit down at the kitchen table, waiting patiently for his prey to arrive. Charles listened in dread to the radio as Kevin said his closing lines.

"Until Next time Dessert Bluffs Too, Until next time!"

A buzz came from Charles coat, that of which was currently on the being. It ignored it. Charles knew what that text was about though, every day after work Kevin would ask who was picking up Donny, and if Charles was busy he would pick him up.

Hopefully he noticed that Charles didn't respond.

Hopefully he caught on.

Hopefully he didn't come home.

******************************

Kevin checked his phone.

No reply.

He chuckled to himself softly, always caught up in his work. He was sure his boyfriend would answer soon, he must have just been distracted. He waved to his intern Vanessa and left the studio.

The school was within a walking distance so it wasn't hard to pick up Donovan. He was holding a piece of paper and his airplanes, swooping them in the air like he always did.

"Hey Donny! How was school?"

Donovan turned his attention to Kevin.

"It was fun, we made some art and I got to play with my airplanes!"

"That sounds like fun! What did you make?"

Donovan unrolled the paper and presented it to Kevin. It was mostly just a yellow scribble.

"Good job, it looks great Donny! C'mon, let's get home."

"Alrighty!"

Donovan grabbed Kevin's hand and they walked home together, oblivious to the thing waiting at home for them.
