Her fingers were fidgeting as she tried to maintain herself. She could really hear her own heartbeats as her anxiety is creeping in. What's making it worse is that she is in his territory.

"Ericka," an old man came in as he nodded at the stylist that was doing Ericka's hair, indicating to go outside for a couple of minutes, "How are you?"

"What do you think?" she snapped, throwing him a dirty look, "Now i feel like you're in a some sort of cult and you had no choice but to sacrifice me."

"Eh... that was somehow correct."

Ericka rolled her eyes and stood up, her arms crossed against her chest. She stood next to the window and observed the gray clouds outside, "Isn't there any other way?"

"Sorry to say but there isn't. Just stick to the plan," he said, "Marry him. Seduce him-"

"Excuse me?" she turned to him with furrowed brows, "Seduce—are you nuts?! You taught me that that vampire is a disgusting creature and now you're just gonna—ugh..."

"Okay! Okay! Let's cross that one out, maybe somehow befriend him so he'd grow soft and then you go kill him!"

"Pfft, yeah right."

"Just please don't mess this up."

"... sure."

As soon as Abraham left, Ericka swiftly gathered all the blankets and curtains she could find in that room. As she headed to the window, she accidentally stepped on her own dress, merely tearing the fabric. She groaned to herself and dropped the blankets and curtains as she ripped her dress below her knees so she could freely move around as her feet kicked her knees.

"I am now rethinking why on earth how Van Helsing convinced me."

A tall vampire came pacing back and forth. His friends following him with their sight.

"Because he said," Griffin cleared his throat before continuing, "'Don't you want that? A union between the Dracula and Van Helsing's! Plus, it's only going to be a wedding and it's done!' "

"See? It's not that bad Drac," Frank continued as he sipped from his champagne.

"No, it's just that i have this strong gut feeling that there is something wrong!"

"Come on! You're a vampire!" Murray reassured, "And if there is, you are more powerful then them!"

"The only thing you should be careful off is how the lady is gonna look like—ow!" Griffin got cut off when Wayne nudged him, "What? I'm just stating out facts! We know how Van Helsing look like, what more for her—stop that!"

"Look, the point is just do the wedding and everything is done! Just like that old man said." Frank said, walking up beside the vampire that was stressing himself.

I can't do this... he thought to himself as he fixed up his vest.

"Okay, i'll try but could you guys leave me for a minute? And call me when it's about to start?" he said, giving them a smile that was too obvious being fake. But the guys bought it anyway and left him, thinking he's just nervous.

When the door closed and he was alone, he rubbed his face and tried to think out what to do.

"Okay uh... maybe if i'll just leave for the day... then they would cancel it? Yes, yes that's the best i could do for now. I'm sure Mavis would even support that."

He convinced himself with that being the plan. He glanced at the window and saw the it was cloudy, blocking the remaining rays of sun since it was almost sunset.

"Perfect."

He turned into a bat and flew outside, but something made him stop. From his peripheral view, he caught a white silhouette. He turned and saw someone going down the building using the Hotel's blanket and curtains, all tied up from the room just beside his. He used his power to look closely to the silhouette without flying to it.

And then he gasped.

"Are you...? No it can't be." he said to himself, still in his bat form, "But she's from the room beside mine! And that's where Van Helsing said that she's there. Oh no, it is you..."

"Okay just..." she looked at the ground and smiled to herself, "... just seven more floors, and then run across that bridge... and run across the forest and back home..." she stopped for a second and took time to breathe because she came from the top floor of the Hotel and now she's already at the sixth floor, "... why does this hotel have to be this big?"

"Because it's for monsters."

"GAAAAAH—" she screamed to herself and even almost lost her grip at the blanket due to her being startled, but good thing that she already got used to it. She slowly turned her head, only to see a bat looking at her. Not long after, realization sunk in, "A-Are you... Count Dracula?" she asked, holding the sheets tightly, as if falling was imminent.

"... the one and only." there was hesitation with the way he responded, he might scare her, he feared.

"... yeah... i... gotta go." without the Count responding, she hurriedly proceeded going down.

The Count had quirked a brow and flew down to her, "Don't tell me you're scared?"

Ericka stopped and glared at him, "Look, i just want to get on the ground now because my hands are starting to hurt." she growled at him, "And for your information, i am not scared of you or anyone. It's just that you might stop me and bring me there or just—whatever!"

"Yeah i wasn't gonna stop you, i was actually going to escape," he explained, confusing the woman when he smirked.

"But... up until i saw you."
