(Disclaimer: A chapter full of drama, over reactions, weirdness and would make you say "What kind of fan fiction is this?!" LOL)

It was a gloomy night, but there was a formal party that was about to happen in an hour. A party of welcoming a newly engaged couple.

Drac was in his room, trying to figure out what to wear, although most of his clothes are almost the same. The party was themed formal, so he had to choose a new suit, or maybe he could just put on a ribbon? But an idea sparked in his mind.

He went out of his room, he wasn't wearing his cape and his three top buttons was undone, he brought with him a black but elegant tie Mavis gave to him. He stopped in front of a door and knocked. He heard footsteps coming and it sounded like it stumbled and murmured something, which made Drac smile, before the door opened.

"D-drac? What are you... i mean... the party isn't starting yet, right?" Ericka asked, she was still wearing her bathrobe, a towel wrapped around her hair and still wearing fluffy slippers. But her make up was already done.

"Do... you know how to put a tie?" Drac asked, pouting as he held his tie up to show her.

"Well, great grandfather did teach me." She said, as she stepped aside to let Dracula in her room. "Come in."

Drac stopped in front of a mirror, although he couldn't see anything, he imagined that he looked great, as usual, even though his outfit wasn't done as he chuckled to himself. He adored how Ericka kept the room tidy, even her make up was all in place. Well, there is no suspicion on that since she is a former ship captain.

"Alright-y. Let's get your tie ready." Ericka said, smiling, as she stood in front of him, and he handed her the tie which she gladly accepted as she wrapped it around his neck. Drac smiled, but somehow blushing, seeing that they were inch close to each other. Sure, they already hugged, but it still makes them both flushed. He somehow feel guilty for his plan that brought him here, suddenly,

"Wait a second..." Ericka stopped and narrowed her eyes at him, making him think that she suspected something. Did she?

"W-what?" He stuttered as he nervously laughed.

"You already know how to put a tie, don't you?" She questioned, her eyes still narrowed at him as she grabbed the tie from his neck.

"Uh... y-yes..." Drac said as he rubbed his nape, as he nervously laughed, again, to at least sway the tension.

Ericka just looked at him blankly and placed the tie on his stiff shoulder.

"Not funny, Drac." She mumbled as she sat on a chair in front of her mirror and put finishing touches of make up.

"I-i'm sorry... honey... look i-" He was cut off.

"It's fine..." Ericka said in low voice as she stood up to open her closet. Drac heard her sigh.

"But-"

"Just please go..." She was picking up some clothes, choosing between a dress, somehow similar to her captain's uniform or a cream colored skirt paired with a white, vintage blouse.

"But Ericka-!"

"Drac... i need to change my clothes... so if you would... leave?" She said, but her attention was focused on her clothes.

"Oh... i-i'll meet you downstairs, okay?" He said, he waited for her answer, which he didn't received. When she was about to take off her robe, Drac covered his eyes, for they have never crossed that line yet, and he left, feeling more guilty.

"Dad, where's Ericka?" Mavis asked her father, as they were already seated around the table, "It's almost half an hour and she's not yet here, and we're all here!"
