Hennessey, Jack on the attack
Vodka straight up and down.
Tequila is fine, without any lime
Just double taps to the brain
Jaeger smooth,
Bourbon messy-
Body crashed on the rocks.
Glasses that fall,
Glass on the floor
Heart is thumping in panic.
Roll with the Tide,
Crimson and wide,
Now that's how to party.
IV in the wrist-
Tubes and quiet voices hum.
Nurses with fake smiles,
Doctors who grin
"There's nothing there anymore"
"I don't know why you brought him in."
A cycle it seems,
From one to another,
Round and round the drain.
Pouring it out,
Pouring it down,
Anything to drown the pain.
