i checked out some of your videos and you seem like a good fit.

if you were serious let me know :)

oh my god

yes a million times i'm interested

sorry

not really

i'm serious though hit me up with the ip ::):):)

maybe it was a little much.

i looked back at the replies and smiled slightly seeing the response from wilbur. i barely knew the lad and he was already vouching for me?

i spent the morning cleaning up my appearance and just as i was walking out the door to go take care of some errands, i opened it to be faced with the tall slender man i had met the night before.

"oh. sorry i don't mean to keep you. i was just bringing over apology scones." he held up a bag from Flourish Cakes and Treats.

"apology scones?" i questioned as i peaked into the bag slightly.

"for last night. i should be more considerate of others." he blushed slightly.

a man of this caliber blushing? unheard of.

"that's really kind of you, Will." i accepted the bag from his hand and moved aside to let him in.

"aren't you going out?" he asked.

"i'm in no hurry. plus i don't think i can eat six scones by myself." i said as i peaked into the bag once more.

"i don't want to impose." he stuttered out.

"nonsense. you're my guest." i said gesturing for him to come in once more.

he made his way in, ducking slightly to get through the door, and into the dining room.

"tea?" i asked as i set my purse and bag of pastries on the counter.

he nodded in response and took a seat at the table.

"i only have lavender, will that be okay?" i asked as i began to boil the water.

"only one kind of tea? what kind of brit are you?" he asked in a joking manner.

"the terrible kind." i responded with a laugh at the end.

once the tea was brewed, the two of us were sat at the table enjoying our scones and drink, keeping a light conversation.

"have you always lived here? i feel like i've never seen you before until now?" he asked confused.

"about 10 months. if i'm not in my apartment, i'm out running errands or doing my actual job. i'm sure you understand, streaming isn't quite the paying job i thought it would be." i said as i sipped from the cup in front of me.

"what do you do for work?"

"i'm a medical assistant, but i specialize in elderly and the disabled care. i work for an organization and they send me to odd jobs basically. of course i do art commissioning on the side and streaming." i felt like i was rambling. speaking too much. he probably hated me.

"that's brilliant. i have loads of respect to those that dedicate their lives to caring for others." he smiled as he took a bite out of the scone.

he was sweet. a soft side i wasn't expecting. i suppose i should've gotten that from the scone delivery though.

"yeah. it's hard work but seeing them happier because i help them makes it worth it." i blushed as i stared down into my nearly empty cup.

the dishes were cleaned and he was getting ready to leave when he stopped me.

"where are you headed?" he asked.

"just the market and maybe my sisters on the way back. why?" i responded.

"i'll walk you to the market, it's on the way to my office building." he suggested.

"alright." i grabbed my keys, mask, and purse and the two of us went on our merry way.

the walk was quiet but reasonably a lot better than doing it alone. he mainly spoke now and i listened, putting in my input wherever needed. it was incredibly easy having a conversation with him.

"so basically we've created this new "server" and declared independence. it's quite chaotic but incredibly fun. i'm excited for you to join, it'll be interesting having a woman joining L'manburg." he rambled on.

"oh? you think i'm joining your side? that's cute, Wilbur." i laughed.

"i tell you all about the nations future plans and you are just now telling me that you won't be joining my side?" he said in complete shock.

"you didn't let me get a word in! believe me i would've been glad to stop you at the salmon story but it would've been like taking a bull by the horns." i laughed as he chuckled in response.

"i'll just script it that you HAVE to join us." he tossed back.

"then i'm breaking the script mother fucker." i smirked, although the mask hid it.

"oh you're an evil one aren't you." he bumped into my shoulder slightly.

"this is my stop. thank you for escorting me, sir." i said as i did a terrible curtsy.

"of course, my lady." he responded as he lifted my hand up to his covered face and planted a kiss gently on it.

oh shit.

good thing this mask hid the insane blush that was blooming on my cheeks.

"goodbye." i squeaked out as he let go.

"bye, Artemis." he walked away towards the direction we were coming from.

the bastard lied.
