CHAPTER SEVEN√ Vampire prince

Marvel's POV

A loud roar filled the castle as everyone stopped. I thanked the interruption because i couldn't bare to listen to both Lady Shania's murderous thoughts and Lord Syler's dirty thoughts about me. I cringed further when chains crossed his mind. The expressions on their faces were terrific. Lest their thoughts. It shocked me that I could also hear demon minds but my shock dissipated soon replaced by curiosity. I grinned.

A sudden shadow settled inside the room and I couldn't help but shiver. I felt a dark presence. A really dark one. I felt dizzy as I stumbled. I fell onto something hard and black. I don't remember anything standing beside me. I could feel stares and sharp intakes of breath.

I completely shifted my weight on it for support. I was loosing my strength. Ramon turned pale as he watched, so were the others.

"A mind commander" a masculine voice said as footsteps echoed around. Even though my vision was blurry I could tell the man is beautiful. His height almost similar to Given's and his black purple mane flowed down his shoulders. His eyes glowed a dangerous crimson as his lips curved in a sinister smile. He wore white robes,with a white trouser. His eyes rested on me.

Kreton hissed in anger" Eyka!". My mind analysed. I guess that's his name. Eyka grinned" Nice memory demon lord, but I think mine is very poor. What's your name again?" He asked innocently except nothing about him looked innocent. Just like Given.

Why am I comparing him with the intruder? I silently scolded my brain for acting foolishly. Lord Syler feeling offended by Eyka's insult at Kreton interjected.

" What brings you here Eyka? you have been in hiding for some centuries ,why now?". He was standing now.

He turned towards my direction
" You make me sound like a coward Syler. In fact I have been searching. And I just found what I have been looking for" his gaze turned to me.

My God! What is this? Eyka started walking towards my direction. Given was in front of me in seconds his whole body tense and a darkness engulfing him." Stay away from my property Eyka" .

Eyka laughed" Of course I can't Given, you know how much am obsessed with your creations. After all ,you are the only one who poses a threat to my goal to rise as the main power."

Lady Shania laughed" Seriously Eyka, you think of us unworthy of your challenge. Thats undergrading us don't you think" she said in her flirtatious voice.

Eyka ran his hand through his hair"you forget who I am Shania. I am the Vampire Prince, Wonderer of the Night. Pure blood from the blood line of Darkvil. The current leader of all the vampires. And am not talking to you, am talking to the only person that can ever dream about bringing me down."

He returned his attention towards our direction." Of course you can take him down, if you work together. But don't get me wrong-" he said with a laugh as he noticed the sour expressions on the demon leaders."-you can start by giving me the mind commander. Surrender her to me Given and I can promise you a fare battle between us."

" No" was Given's short reply. Eyka's smile wiped off. His eyes blazed angrily " then we will do this the hard way." With a set jaw line he turned towards the other demons.

" She is not only a mind commander as you have all heard and seen what her powers can do, she can hear demon thoughts and...can attack them too". He paused letting what he said sink into their minds. His words worked like magic and all their gazes turned to me." Having her as a weapon sure promises glory. She can my dear demons, work her way to beat up a legion without raising a hand."

Even Given's companions gave me a quick glance. I can hear the doubts in their minds. Doubts if there master is making a right choice not giving me up. Except for Ramon.
