CHAPTER NINE√ Blooming Feelings

Marvel's POV

We ran. We didn't bother look behind us. The rest of the demon community had betrayed Given with greed for power. I managed to make way in the list of the most wanted people in the supernatural community cause not only did the demons show interest, other supernaturals especially vampires didn't hide their interest in me.

It had been two weeks since the last incident where I tried to kill myself. From what I was told I stayed on bed for a week without even moving a muscle because I happened to know that the chain I was hanging from was actually the legendary " Chain of doom" and it lived to its name.

" Do you have the slightest idea how much trouble you caused us!" Delia shouted at me. So far Delia is the number one figure that hates me as much as Given hates humans. She pushed me as she walked away. I sighed. Ramon came by with woods and said

" she is not ready to accept the fact that there are two females now. She used to get all the attention but with you here, she just can't help but feel like she is left out".

I chuckled as I made myself comfortable on the long coach. Currently we are in a hide out somewhere interior of the forest of Giza, a location that only Given, Elijah, Delia and Ramon know. It would take them some time to find us but with us here its an advantage as they try to come up with a plan to solve the current problem.

Elijah sat on the far end of the big living room. Still and quite.
" what are you?" I asked for like the hundredth time with no response. His pale features and death glare weren't encouraging questions but with my small brain of mine, it never seems to register danger.

" I know what you did wasn't your fault. It was a blood lust that is caused by the nature of your being" I said to him.

" you know nothing about me so shut up!" He snapped. I recoiled back from his tone." That's rude bro" I said to him and sulked back on the couch. " No one really likes me in this place!".

" I do". Ramon replied happily. I glanced at him." You are just amused and curious about how humans works. You couldn't choose a much worse specimen for this project. With that said no one really likes me. That grouchy guy wants to eat me, Delia literally wants me dead, Eyka wants me for gods know what! The demons want to enslave me for power and Given wants me alive to live through all these miseries. He is surely messed up in the head." I rubbed my temple in distress.

" I just want to see my father. And James". Ramon's brows quirked" you have family?". I laughed sadly." The only one left, yeah". He stared at me sadly." It seems you have a caring father.".

" well I can say am the worst daughter that has ever existed. Because of me, he is now subjected to slavery.". I sulked farther in my seat. Not a day passes without thinking of him. My father, the man who raised me to be who I am today. I sighed in defeat as thoughts of suicide crossed my mind. Unfortunately I had forgotten that the night that I tried to end my life was the night of my birth day. Am a shitty daughter, comrade, partner and even recruit.

" I told you that chain is gonna give u second thoughts of going back. I suggest you not be alone". I nearly jumped out of my skin upon hearing his voice. It has been days that I have tried to ignore since the last time we met. The day that I had woken up.

Flash back

I woke up and Given was right there just on the corner glaring at me. He walked towards me and pulled me up from the bed.
" if you want to die that much, ask me and I would fulfil that wish for you!". I pushed him away.

" it doesn't matter if I die, it would end your problems anyway" I said lowly. He groaned and held my face arrogantly." My problems are none of your concerns! Thinking that your petty life would solve a thing is beyond any naivety I have ever encountered. You are merely a pain in my life!".
