Marvel's POV

I don't know for how long I stayed there on the ground. All my body felt numb and all I could remember was someone with dark eyes, dark as the void do something to me. Then the pain took over. I raised myself from the ground. I was still in the cage but with the door now open, I can escape. I pulled myself to the door and stared at the darkness awaiting me behind the tall canopy trees. Going there is not a good idea but neither is staying here.

Soon dawn would break the sky, looks like I've passed out thought the day. I walked on passing tree by tree. The owls gave me chills but I ignored them. I have no plans of dying so young okay. After I had walked a mile or so I heard a growl." Oh no". I tried to walk faster but the sound was getting closer and it sounded like a group closing in. I stopped in my tracks when I saw a figure at the front. Its glowing eyes scanning me as it walked forward. A jaguar. Even if I were in my perfect health can I outrun that beast? I turned to see more coming. Two, three, five! I can't die, I told myself. My father needs me. He needs me. Am his only family. I scanned them as sweat ran down my back. They pounced.

I ducked, the first jaguar's claws missing me by inches but I wasn't lucky of course. The second one pounced on me and I fell to the ground as I felt its claws tear my left arm. I screamed and tried to beat it to no avail. Another jaguar attacked my right shoulder with its sharp canines. The pain was crazy as I tried to shake them off. Which is a dumb thing to do considering they weigh several hundreds pounds.

Another jaguar attacked the one on top of me, fighting for me. The food. I picked up a rock as my left arm protested and hit the jaguar who had its teeth on my shoulder and was pulling me away. It didn't even waver instead another one joined the crowd and bit my thigh struggling to remove the flesh. I can't take it any more. The pain, the feeling of being teared apart brought fear, more than I could possibly imagine. I wanted to die.

But to die with them, I wanted to hurt them, for them to tear themselves apart. One of jaguars who looked weak and scared to join in for the competition stared at me. Kill, I said to myself. I could feel something open up to me and the fighting stopped. Murderous thoughts jammed at me, complex yet understandable. I wished that they tear themselves to shreds. I could see black dots forming because I had lost a lot of blood. I wanted to kill but I had no strength. But somehow I knew. I don't but I saw them attack each other before I passed out.

I woke up again and the sun was shining high on the sky. I felt a darkness but I was too numb to comprehend. My mind wanted to kill and kill only. I stood up, my vision was scarlet. Death, what are humans? They should all die, they didn't even think to protect me in the village and they arrogantly pride themselves with a feeling of humanity. They are all animals. Animals! I looked around to see the jaguars dead, turn each other to death. Is smiled and walked off. I noticed I had walked into a village and saw people walking about. I heard voices yet I didn't see their mouth move. I could see they stared at me in confusion.

" why is she basked in blood? Is she a killer".

" She looks like an orphan, poor her".

" She looks young and naive, perhaps on my bed she would do".

" The cloths on her are barely covering her thighs and chest, what a sight! She would make a nice sex slave".

" let me lure her to my home, I would call the young boys to come and have fun and earn some money. But not before I have her first".

I could hear it all yet, no lips moved. Could it be their thoughts! Whatever they were I didn't want anyone near me. Two men tried to close in with pathetic smiles and covered me with a blanket.

" poor you, let's go and my wife can clean you up, have you eaten? Where are you from?" They asked as they pulled me towards a deserted road. I felt one of the arms slip under the blanket." Oh the gang is gonna love this" I heard the voice again. The arm caught on my waist tightly. I stopped. My mind wasn't even registering what I was thinking but one thought clouded all over the others." Death". The men froze as if confused.

" don't stop you need medical help" one of them said trying to pull me. " let go of me!" I said calmly. They stared at each other and laughed. They tore the blanket from my body and greedily grabbed onto to arms pulling me into the bushes. I tried to resist but the wounds were getting worse. They laid me on the ground as they fumbled with their belts." Be a good girl and enjoy!" They cackled. I wanted them dead. The river just metres away flowed with strong currents. Drown, my mind angrily retorted. They froze as if they heard my thought and stared at me.

" Drown yourself!" my mind said and like in a dream they walked over to the flowing river and threw themselves with the currents.

Now a little more. I walked back to the village anyone who dared look me in the eye faced the same fate. They either strangled themselves, or stabbed themselves. Some killed each other in any way that allowed them. Satisfaction coursed through my systems, death was quite entertaining. The way they screamed, eyes unfocused, it was all entertaining. People ran around in chaos, scared of me. Scared of death. I turned around to see the one responsible for my misery. The Given. He was staring at me in shock." You dare show yourself before me!". He looked even more bewildered. My mind commanded for his death but it bounced back like a wall of shield. I was now confused why won't it work on him?he smirked, obviously acknowledging that whatever I was doing wasn't working on him. He walked towards me and grasped my arm.

" you are a monster!Let go of me". I jerked my arm free and slapped him hard on the face. He took a shaky breath trying to control his anger I guessed." No one especially a filthy fucking nobody human like you dares to touch me. Yet you-". I slapped him hard again. His muscles had tensed but I didn't care. " Do you know what happened to me when you left?". He grit his teeth and caught me roughly by the throat " I don't fucking care what happens to a human like you". I tried to struggle but he hit on the neck and I passed out.

The pain was crazy, fuck. I found it difficult to even open my eyes. What the hell had happened to me. I lifted my lids and I could hear a shuffle. I groaned as I tried to lift myself.
" I advise against that miss" a childish voice said. I turned to see a small boy with dark brown hair and dark eyes. He looked like seven or eight.

" who are you?" I asked, my voice was hoarse and it hurt to even talk. The kid just stared at me curiously" My father patched you up after you were brought here. Am curious how did a human like you survive". He ignored my question and approached me. He stretched his hand to touch my cheek, I flinched away. He just sighed and grabbed hold of my cheek by force.

" I hate it when someone denies me something that I want" the kid said his dark eyes staring straight at me. Is this even a kid? I asked myself.
" she is notorious for that " Given said as he entered the room. The room suddenly felt darker and he filled the room with awesome lot of negative energy. I recalled our last conversation where I had slapped him. Twice. Oh God, I thought. His green emerald eyes glared at me and I immediately remembered why I even had the courage to do that.

" Uncle she just woke up" the child said to him. With his eyes still glued to mine he answered" I can already see that Nikolas, I have eyes". Nikolas snorted" you haven't changed a bit you know, I always tell you to stop being mean to me". Given just rolled his eyes" leave us alone". The kid stared at him" dad said she should rest and-" ." if you don't leave now, I swear-" Nikolas was out of the room in seconds.

He closed the door and turned to me." You have some explaining to do". I cursed myself, today was the day I am going to officially die. Hurray, my dumb mind thought. " Freaking hell we do".
