Jade set down her phone, not knowing what to feel. She sat, swarmed in all her thoughts, as she waited for Emmy to come home so she could tell her all about it.

Only about 30 minutes had passed when she heard the sound of the doorknob turning, meaning Emmy was home with the food.

Once Emmy walked in, followed by Calum and Ashton, she set the food on the table and called for Jade.
