3. Hopefully I'll be seeing you around?

Jade had been sound asleep for the past few hours. That is, until her roommate barged into the room, yelling at her to get up.

"Jade! it's 6:00, if you want to come to the concert you need to get ready, it starts at 8," Emmy said, just loud enough to wake Jade up.

Jade stirred a bit as she let herself regain consciousness, finally taking in what Emmy had said to her. "I don't know," she replied, slightly rubbing her eyes.

Emmy leaned against the door frame and exhaled, giving Jade a slightly disappointed look. "I'm not gonna force you, but I really think it would be good for you. I'll give you a little bit to think about it, Calum's waiting for me in the living room," Emmy replied before making her way back down the hall, not staying to wait for Jade's reply.

Jade sighed, letting her thoughts take over as she laid in the bed. Maybe she's right. It couldn't hurt to go to one concert.

After a few more minutes of contemplating, Jade decided to pull herself out of bed. As she made her way over to her vanity, Emmy came in to check on her. "You're up! I'm so happy for you, I promise it will be fun," She exclaimed, before happily making her way over to the closet. "I'm gonna pick something out for you, okay? You're gonna be the hottest girl there!"

Jade scoffed at Emmy's words, but couldn't help but smile. "If you insist," she replied before picking up her concealer to start on her makeup.

"Oh my GOD! You look hot as HELL!" Emmy cheered, taking in Jade's appearance.

Jade turned around to admire herself in the mirror, and she had to admit, Emmy did a pretty good job at making her look hot. She chose a white crop top to go with an over-sized green and black flannel, paired with charcoal gray mom jeans with rips just above the knees and old black and white converse. Jade didn't want to do too much with her makeup, so only did her eyebrows, mascara, concealer and eyeliner.

"Thanks Em," Jade smiled before turning around to give her a hug.

"The concert starts in 45 minutes, so we should probably get going, we don't want to be late," Emmy said before releasing from the hug and giving Jade a big smile, taking in her appearance one more time.

"Alright, let's go."

The concert wasn't as packed as Jade had anticipated. There were probably only around 30-40 people, which was a bit of a relief for Jade.

It was already hard enough for her to leave the house, but having a ton of people there would make it that much easier to want to leave as soon as she could.

Jade just followed behind Emmy as she greeted almost every person that was there, introducing Jade as she went along.

wow, she sure does have a lot of friends, Jade thought to herself.

Only a few minutes had passed before the lights in the room dimmed, signaling that the concert was about to start.

As the band walked out onto the stage and took their places, cheers filled the room. Jade slowly joined in with the crowd, but with much less enthusiasm.

"Thank you guys for coming! We appreciate you for being with us tonight."

More applause and cheering filled the room as the band began playing their first song.
