Lin x immature/demon persona reader: Day to remember part 1

Ugh I been working on a very tough case a woman was found in her home beaten and in her home. I asked neighbors of hers if they had heard anything . I checked their alibies and they were all clear but I knew one of them was not telling the true. But the woman was found bound in her home but she was a earth bender. But when we found her bending abilities were blocked and she had no way to defend herself her friend/ co worker found her when she didn't show up for work that afternoon.

-Lin came in finally break time. Lin!!!! I ran up and hug her. Ugh . Cadet Y/n show some restraint when you are in the workplace! Come on Lin lighten up. Ooo I know come have fun with me to day! I poked her cheek. We have no time for that ! We have to work around the clock to solve cases. I know. I puffed out my cheeks. I need a break my brain is turned in to mud. You don't do anything in here. So I still need a break! I whined. No breaks you need to get things done. Your glad I do fire you because all do is play around and not work.

I do end up doing the work but she doesn't know that. When I solve cases I end on passing it on to one of my co-worker. I end up hounding every single one of them. On leads evidence or surveillance and when I do get breaks I use that time to do undercover work. I known Lin for along time but like being selfish but Lin as long as I known her she never had fun.

Come Lin you need a break too. When was the last time you had fun?

I had fun pentley of times.

When? I cross my arms very skeptically. She crunched her nose. I don't see how it is your business.

It is fine I gotta do something today anyway.

And where you going she called me out before I walked out. I turned a little bit. I put my finger up to my lips. It is a secret. I smirked and left

Mako pov.

Lin punched a wall after Y/n left. Damn Y/n so lazy! she shouted. I spoke up

Actually Captain she/he works harder than anyone of us.

I highly doubt that Mako.

I seen her/his work and she/he works their butt off even when she/he is on brake. She/He goes undercover on her/ his brakes she /he ends up going to the places that we had cases on and she/he kinda becomes the victim and get a scenario of what happen to the victim it like she/he has six senses or something. It is better to see it in person she/ he are working on three cases at a time and she/he never goes home after hours they usually. When she/he is done with solving it she/he hands it off to another person to make the arrest. She/he likes to hound us when you are not around like she has this dark aura around her/him. But when she/he is around you or you come in she/he acts like a child. That is why the guys are more relaxed when you are here but not to much.

It took about thirty minute. But then a rock wall came up and block the road the all of sudden y/n is chasing down a man and she/he was blocking him in with her/his earth bending abilities.

If your not guilty then why run away? she/he had the aura again She / He had a twisted smile . You are the one that sold a man or woman a drug that took a young woman's ability and she is dead now because of it. You better tell me who sold it to your last record now. He /she left a large dent in the wall next to the guys head . Lin got out and went to Y/n. Oh Miss Lin? I didn't see you there. She/He awkwardly laughed as she/he fixed the wall. Well I'm off see ya. She/he jumped on the roof and ran in the night.

Y/n pov.

I didn't know that lin was going to me there I hurried back to police station. Right as I opened the door to the office. I saw everyone partying. I snapped. That is enough! Every single one of the officers looked at me. I am sure Miss lin was very very clear when she asked you to do your jobs! Those who defied orders don't last long you understand me. Yes they said in a dejects voice but one officer spoke up. Why should we take orders from her/him. She /He has not done anything to help us. She/He does nothing all day and leaves us with all the work. So how may cases have you solved again? I will tell you how many none. No wonder why Lin thinks you are a failure.

The officer slapped his hands on my shoulders. Get your hands off of me now! No it is time for new management . Fine let's have a wager if I win you have the night shifts from now on. Ha that is so weak if I win you have to resign and never return here ever again. He smugly smiled.

Alright I been meaning to get a new job to do during the night anyway. I smack his hands off my shoulders . Then Lin came in the office and saw it was a mess Who is responsible for this! The officers pointed to me but I didn't mind. I am mama. I was so excited that you were coming back and I threw a little party too early.

Y/n I will excuse this behavior for now so please pick this up. I start picking up the mess. Lin walked right passed me and then she turned back to me. And Y/n? I stood up straight up and looked at her. Yes Lin?

I will take you up on that offer that you asked me this morning ... If you do all your work and not pass off the cases you solved to someone else to make the arrest. I mad dashed and got the place spot less. I started speed writing and got all my work done. I went speeding down to a judge for nine warrants for my 9 cases.

It was about 9 am when I made my last arrest. I made my way back to the police station when the guy I made the wager with wanted to fight me outside right then and there but I was super tired. Lin didn't know that Lin heard the officer shouting and called me a chicken because I wouldn't challenge him at that point in time. I got sick and tired of him yelling because I couldn't get my sleep. We found area in a place that no civilians can get hurt. I didn't know that every officer was going to be here even Lin .

The referee started talking. I want a clean fight whoever neutralise the other person is the winner ready? Hell yeah ! the officer yelled. Then the referee looked at me I nodded. Ready and fight. He came fast on my right swiftly doge out of the way. I was now on pure adrenaline.

He came at me again and again. I saw my advantage. He aimed for my gut but ducked down and punch him in the gut. It launched him back so far he hit a tree. He tried to get up but he couldn't get back up off the ground my tiredness him me and I fell to my knees Y/n is the winner. That is all I heard before I passed out. I woke up a hour later and I was at my desk.
