Sharkboy falls for the mute Reader

A/n : Hey every one I for got to post this on here so is this one hope you enjoy let me know if I should do a part two of this

My name is Y/n. I have selective muteness, what that means when I am put in certain situations I become mute.

I wasn't always like this. I have an older brother named max.

He would always bully me once he came home from school but it got worse and worse as time went on. I couldn't stand it anymore.

I tried to shout at him but nothing came out. I tried again but nothing came out. Max became worried and he told our parents.

I later found that I always had selective muteness or SM for short.

I had to learn sign language but I wasn't allowed to attend school so I had to be homeschooled.

My brother Max was bullying me less and less. He always tells me about the adventures he had with Shark boy and lava girl.

I came up with nicknames for them. Shark boy I did rebel shadow or hedgehog or porcupine , for lava girl I did flame rose.

My brother liked lava girls' nicknames but not Sharkboy's he laughed when I wrote down hedgehog . I asked him to come up with better ones .

He came up with a maniac king, mad cloud, little micro fury , and double trouble for shark boy.

I didn't write anything, I didn't think they were funny either.

With lava girls nicknames he put or thought into them like rose comet or Starfall flame plus fire sparrow. But that was a year ago.

My brother stopped talking to me even my parents started to drift away from me.

I felt alone so I grabbed my journal and went outside when I was done with my school work.

We lived across from Max's school. I always wanted to go to a regular school but I couldn't.

I walked down to the park that was a block or two down the street.

I continued on from the stories my brother told but it was different . I met a shark boy on planet drool between his and lava girls territories.

I was looking out on the ocean on a rock that was in the water. I felt at peace that was until I saw a fin coming towards me.

I freaked out and slipped and hit my head on the rock I was sitting on. Everything was black until I woke up a few minutes later.

I slowly opened my eyes. The sky was a mixture of blues, greens, purples. It was filled with so many stars, it washed away my pain of loneliness that so many caused me.

What were you doing on the rock in my ocean? A male voice rang out.

I wonder if I can talk in my dreams. I lifted myself up and I saw a boy with tan skin , piercing dark brown eyes, spiky black hair, and teeth that were sharp to a point.

I realized it was Sharkboy from the stories my brother told me.

Are you going to answer me or not? I nod and pick up a stick and wrote ' I was trying to have some peace and quiet and not think about the stuff that is happening at home.'

He looked at what I wrote. Can you talk?

The waves wash away what I wrote before. I don't know if I can or can not.
