The Hero's Daughters From Different Mothers

Chapter 10

AnnaZelda laughs as her, Link, and Zelda stand below Skyloft as Zelda and Link call their Loftwings. (sorry I haven't played Skyward Sword so I don't really know if they ride their Loftwings up to Skyloft or not)

The family gets too Skyloft only to have a couple of the students run up to the three of them. A certain red head runs up to them. "Hello Zelda, Link, AZ! How have you been?" Zelda smiles friendly at the familiar redhead who used to pick on Link back in school days.

"Hello Groose we've been well. How have you been?" Groose smiles and picks up AnnaZelda then spins her around in a circle while she laughs then sets her down.

"I've been better. My Loftwing is sick and we don't know if he will get better or not. Pippit has been wondering when you guys would come back to visit. Poor little guy has been lonely. Anyways you guys better go talk to Zelda's father. He's been awaiting your arrival. I better leave, my duty starts soon. See you guys later." He walks off and over to the edge when he jumps and whistles for his Loftwing. He then flies off towards the sanctuary down below.

We walk over to the knight academy and enter through the doors. Zelda's father stands there smiling as they enter.

"My beautiful daughter I am glad you could come today. Hello Link how have you been?" He shakes hands with Link.

"Very well sir. I'm guessing things have been well here as well?" The king nods as he turns to look at AnnaZelda.

"And then there's my beautiful granddaughter. Hello AnnaZelda, I can't believe you're six already. That means you get your Loftwing now that you're of age. Come we must head to the Goddess statue quickly." He picks her up and gives her a piggyback ride the whole way to the island shock contains the statue.

On the way he told some of the teachers to gather up everybody and bring them to the statue. The teachers agreed and gathered up all of the students, knights, and other teachers for them all to gather at the statue.

He got everyone's attention and began to speak. "Attention people of Skyloft, today is a very beautiful day for us. Today my dear granddaughter AnnaZelda Gaepora shall step up in front of the statue and reclaim her Loftwing."

He then motions for her to go up to the statue and whistle. AnnaZelda walks up and puts her finger in her mouth then whistles waiting for her Loftwing, closing her eyes. Suddenly a bird comes down and lands next to her. She opens her eyes to be met with a crimson Loftwing like her father's. She giggles and pets it's head. Everyone ohhhhs or ahhs in amazement.

Link and Zelda walk over to her and set her on the back of the Loftwing. It flies around for a bit with her and then comes back down. Everyone then starts to come to her and congradulate her of her rare Loftwing before leaving to go back to their activities.

AnnaZelda gets off her Loftwing and runs over to her grandfather. "Grandfather did you see me? I flew I really flew by myself."

He chuckles and picks her up. "I sure did see you sweetie. Now why don't you go and take care of your Loftwing while I talk to your parents?" The young girl nods and runs over to her newfound friend. Gaepora on the other hand walked over to Link and Zelda. "If you wouldn't mind when AnnaZelda turns 13 I would like it if she could attend the academy and become a knight like her father."

Link and Zelda look at each other. Link responds. "I guess so. She could learn how to ride a Loftwing correctly and how to weild weapons to protect herself. What do you think Zelda?"

He looks over at his wife who shrugs. "That would be fine with me. As long as you're headmaster father I know you'll protect our little girl. When she has her first wing ceremony she could be the goddess. She could even use my harp."

Her father chuckles. "Yes that is a plus seeing as we don't have that many girls who attend the academy. Anyways we'll discuss this more when it gets closer to her time to come here."
