The Hero's Daughters From Different Mothers

Chapter 14

Back in Skyloft Groose and Pipit were walking back to their homes when they are stopped by the headmaster. "Groose may I talk to you for a moment?" The red head looks to his friend and then shrugs walking towards Gaepora.

"Yes headmaster? Look if it's about me hanging out with your granddaughter I'll stop if you want me to. I understand there's a big age difference and that it's quite disgusted upon by people here in Skyloft so even though she's mine and Pipit's best friend I'll stop talking to her."

The headmaster looked quite surprised by Groose's answer. "Actually Groose that was the exact opposite of what I was going to talk to you about. You see I believe that AnnaZelda has become the young lady she is today because of you. I believe she has taken a big liking to you since her days as a little girl. She might one day have that liking for you blossom into something else. What I'm saying is if that day comes I give my blessing. I see the way you look at her, not wanting any harm to come to her like she is a fragile flower. All you'll need is Link and Zelda's blessing and you'll be okay."

       -5 months later-

AnnaZelda, now ten years old, is gracefully walking towards the stables where all the horses are  located. She sees her father's horse Epona, and her mother's horse Sage laying down next to what she believes is a foal. She realizes that it is indeed a foal that looks just like her mother.

AnnaZelda runs towards the great hall where she knows her father is talking to Alyssa about some things with her baby brother. "Father father it's a miracle. Epona and Sage gave birth to a baby foal. They're in the stables right now. Come look."

Link looks down at his daughter with happiness. "Well lets go see this foal shall we. Alyssa we shall continue later for now go check on Zelda and make sure she is doing okay." The king and his daughter head to the stables to see the foal opening her eyes the have Epona's eyes. Link is about to go pet her when a loud boom sounds throughout the whole kingdom. The king looks to his daughter. "AnnaZelda take the horses and foal and take them to Lon-Lon Ranch. Then come back here. The horses aren't safe here right now they will be at the ranch." Link's eyes go wide once he sees Alyssa running away from them with a bundle in a blue blanket. "AnnaZelda it looks like a war is about to begin. You're baby brother was supposed to go to Skyloft if something like this were to happen but it looks like you're mother sent Alyssa to the Kokiri Forest instead. Once the horses are taken care of please head straight to your grandfather in Skyloft. He should have a room ready for you in the academy. Just be sure these horses get to Lon-Lon Ranch safely."

The ten year old nods and puts a lead rope on Sage and the foal then gets on Epona and heads towards Lon-Lon Ranch. When she gets there she sees the owner Talon, with his wife Marissa, and their newborn daughter Malon. When Talon sees the young princess get off her father's horse he rushes over to her. "My princess what brings you here? There is a war about to start perhaps you should stay here to stay safe."

The young girl shakes her head. "No can do sir. My father ordered me to bring these horses here and for you to keep them under you're protection. I was ordered to go to Skyloft with my grandfather after that so I may learn to be a knight for both Skyloft and Hyrule. I thank you for your offer but I must get to Skyloft." The young man smiles and looks up to see the sun just go under the horizon.

"If you insist my princess. At the least allow me to give you a place to stay for the night.  You may set out for Skyloft in the morning. Although it is a lot more peaceful in Skyloft than here there are still a lot of dangerous creatures there that could harm you if aren't careful. So please just stay for the night."

The young princess just nods and walks over to the stables to let Epona, Sage, and the foal inside. Talon comes over and looks at the foal. "Do you have a name for the little girl yet?" AnnaZelda shakes her head.

"No not yet. I was thinking of maybe naming her after her mother since they look exactly alike. What do you think Talon?" He shakes his head in agreement. "Well then it's settled. Her name will be Epona and I shall stay the night here then in the morning head for Skyloft to my grandfather."

Okay done for now. I told you I would update again before school started. I'm home alone right now and I decided to get on my dad's laptop and update. So here you guys go I'm not sure when this is going to end but I plan on making a sequel whenever this is over. So yeah I'm telling you this because even though it's short it MIGHT be ending soon. Depends on where I want this story to go.
