The Hero's Daughters From Different Mothers

Chapter 7

6 YEARS LATER

"Mama, mama can we please go visit Saria and the rest of the Kokori? Father says to ask you because he's busy planning for a mission or something. Can we? Can we?"

A hyper-active AnnaZelda asks her mother, Zelda as they walk outside to the stable to visit her husband, Link's horse, Epona.

"I don't know Anna. Your father told me you and him were going to the Twilight Realm to visit your Auntie Midna and Sofia. How does that sound?"

The young girl ponders on it for a couple moments before smiling. "Ok mommy we can go to the Kokiri village any other time anyways. Are you going to come with us mommy?"

Zelda shakes her head. "No AnnaZelda, I'm not. Mommy has work to do here with Grandpa. I'll make it up to you by taking you to Skyloft tommorrow to visit him, does that work with you?"

Anna smiles and nods. "Ok momma but I just hope Groose isn't there to pick on me like he usually does."

Zelda laughs at her daughter's silliness. "AnnaZelda Groose won't be there. He graduated already..... at least I hope he did. He wasn't really smart to begin with when your father and I went to Skyloft. Maybe when you're older and you go to Skyloft you'll get a Loftwing like your dad and I did."

Link walks in the room with Midna and a six year old Sofia hiding behind her mother. Zelda and AnnaZelda turn around and layed their brilliant blue eyes on Midna and Sofia.

"Midna, Sofie, I missed you guys soooooo much. Why don't you guys come here more often?" AnnaZelda says as she runs over to her father, 'Aunt', and 'cousin'. Midna picks her up and hugs the living daylights out of her.

"Awww we missed you too AnnaZelda. You know we can't live here in the realm of light. Light and shadows don't mix well, AnnaZelda. We come here though to visit you and your parents though." Modna says with a knowing look at Link. Link shakes his hands back and forth with a look of 'I didn't do it'.

Sofia looks up at her father and lifts her arms as if to say 'pick me up'. Sofia, like her father, was born mute. Link was mute until he found his voice when Illia was stolen. Link picked her up and help her on his side. Sofia layed her head on Link's shoulder and fell asleep quickly.

Midna looks over at them and smiles at her daughter sleeping on her father's shoulder. Zelda walks over to Link and whispers something in his ear. He nods and kisses her cheek which causes Sofia to wake up.

Midna walks over and hands AnnaZelda to her mother and takes Sofia rocking her gently allowing her to go back to sleep.

Zelda looks down at her daughter who exhales a yawn. "Midna I believe it's nap time for these two. Should we go put them in AnnaZelda's room?"

Midna nods and those two walk off with their daughters leaving Link to himself.

Zelda opens the door to her daughter's room and allows Midna to come in and lay Sofia down in the extra bed made specially for her when they visit. Zelda puts AnnaZelda in her bed and sits down on the side of it before she starts to sing the song of the goddess Hylia. (Song in the media)

AnnaZelda was fast asleep, as was Sofia. The two mothers smiled at each other before walking out of the room and back towards Link.
