After a long few months I am back. I couldn't just leave all you guys waiting after that cliff hanger now could I?
Well, Happy New Year! Wow it's 2021 now it feels so strange. Now I'm imagining someone in 2030 reading this story and laughing at the mess we were in back in 21' lmao
(Edit: lol it's Febuary now but I wrote this in January lmao)
---> comment if you're reading this after 2030 ---------------->
Ok, I'm getting a little off track now I'll have to wait a good 9 years until someone comments lmao. Wow I'll be 25 in 2030... weird.
Ok now I really need to stop going on tangents.
Shameless shoutout! If you like my writing style and you enjoy Harry Potter go check out my new story about the Marauders Era it's called Rewrite the Stars ¦ Marauders Era and you can find it on my profile!!! I've also started another story similar to this one called 'My Best Friend is my Uncle' and it's basically about 2 best friends who are also uncle and niece lol just some random idea that popped in my head and I had to write it down.
Last thing, if anyone wants to help me out and like proof-read one of my stories for grammar mistakes please just PM here it would help so much! English isn't my first language so you'd be doing me a huge favour!
Also, if any of you have bipolar disorder or know a lot about it please tell me if I'm getting anything wrong when I write about it and I apologize if I do offend you by getting something wrong I don't have the disorder so I don't really know what someone who has it goes through! I have done some research but that's really it... Thank you!
The usual trigger warning for this chapter. There will be mentions of mental disorders and bipolar disorder.
Ok, now I that I got that out of the way let's get on with the storyy
Leo's POV :
My siblings and I were all sitting on a bench in the police department, completely squished together in the small space.
After our mother's episode we called an ambulance and they brought us to the police since we didn't have another legal guardian to take care of us.
It was a mess. It wasn't the first time this had happened but at least back in italy we would stay at our grandparents house. Here we had nobody.
The police officer spoke to me privately and told me that our mother had to go to a rehabilitation facility. He said it wouldn't be for long but in the meantime he would place us in a foster home.
"Will we have to be seperated?" I asked him with my best english.
"I will try my best not to seperate you but it will be hard. Since you are 18 you are allowed to live on your own in your current house, however your siblings will have to either go to a group home or in a foster home. It's likely the 3 older kids will be put in a group home. One for boys and one for girls but I'll try keeping the 2 younger ones together in the same foster home," he said with a sympathetic look.
"ok, thank you" I told him.
I told my siblings what he had said in italian. Olivia and Dani looked like they were on the verge of tears.
"Prometti che ci chiami tutti giorni?" (Promise that you'll call every day?") says Olivia.
"I promise Oli," I tell her.
Holding in our tears we all did a group hug with poor Jaco squished in the middle.
I was really worried about Dani. Cami and Talia would be together in the group home, and Oli and Jaco would be put in a temporary foster home together. But Dani, he's going to be completely alone in the all-boys group home.
