Unmasking The Truth

Chapter 31

Regina's POV:
I woke up at 3am and couldn't fall back asleep afraid the nightmare would return. It is now 4:30am. I knew I need to sleep so I tried going back to sleep which worked and no nightmares.

Mr. Hyde's POV:
I needed Leopold. He didn't finish the job therefore I have to finish him. But I couldn't just leave Regina by herself, so I got Robin to stay here with her while I'm gone.

I walked upstairs to see if she was awake but she was still asleep. Walking back downstairs Robin walks into the house.

"Make sure she doesn't leave the house," I said. He nodded and then I left to deal with Leopold who wasn't going to be living much longer.

Regina's POV:
I woke up at 9:15am and was still tired. I sigh before getting up and slowly walking down the stairs, I walked into the living room to see Robin sitting on the couch. He was walking tv. He looks at me and let a few tears run down my face. He gets up and walks over to me, I let all the tears out when I fell him pull me into him. I gripped his shirt.

"W-we have t-to f-find a-away to t-tell s-someone what is going o-on," I say looking up at him.

"I know. I already told Granny what was happening this morning on my way here," he tells me.

"You d-did?" I asked.

"Yes, give it some time. I told her not to make it obvious that she knew about what was happening," he said.

"Ok," I said before pushing my head back into his neck and cried.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I w-was s-scared." I tell him. "And h-how d-did you g-get to tell Granny?" I asked.

"Remember you put a spell on my heart making it to where no one can control me, and I'm sorry I didn't stop him yesterday." he said. "But we have to act as if we don't know anything. Ok?"

"I don't c-care about what h-happened  y-yesterday. As l-long a-as you are o-ok. But please d-don't l-leave m-me," I cried.

"I don't want to leave you," he said hugging me tighter.

He pulls me away and wipes the tears before leaning in and kissing me. I hum into it. He pulls away, and I give him a small smile. He then takes my hand and pulls me to the couch. I snuggle into his side as he put something on, on the tv. He pulled a blanket over us. I knew I wasn't going to last long before I fell asleep. Apparently Robin could tell too.

"Go to sleep love, you need it," he tells me.

"I love you," I said softly without stuttering.

"I love you too," was the last thing I heard before I let sleep take over.

Leopold's POV:
I was laying on the bed. This is so stupid, I don't deserve to be in here, in my opinion I didn't do anything wrong. Regina got what she deserves. That woman deserves to get hurt and everything taken away from her.

"What is going through that mind of yours there," I hear a voice.

"Mr. Hyde," I said.

"Yes now I came here to do myself a favor," he said in a cold voice.

"And what is that?" I asked.

"Hurt you for not doing the job," he tells me. I get out of bed and walk up to the bars.

"Trust me I tried to do the job but they kept getting in the way," I told him.

"No, you were suppose to do the job in keeping Regina hidden and hurt till I got here. Mr. Gold as failed but it is you I'm more worried about,"

"Please hear me out. I tired everything. But that thief of hers keeps getting in the way,"

"And yet you still tried killing him but he found a way back. Meaning you still failed the job."

"Please I can make it up to you,"

"Yes you will make it up to me,"

"How?" I asked.

"Follow me," he said somehow opening the cell.

He started to walk and I followed him like he told me too.

Granny's POV:
Robin told me what was going on. So I had to tell the rest.

I knocked on the charming's door and David opened it. I walked in without saying a word.

"Granny what is it?"

"Regina and Robin need our help again." I said.

"What do you mean?" Snow asked.

"It is Mr. Hyde. I don't know what he is doing but Robin said Regina is getting hurt," I tell them.

"Why doesn't Robin stop him?" Emma asked coming into the living room.

"Because Hyde has his heart," I tell them. "But Hyde doesn't know about the protection spell. And knowing Hyde he probably did something to his heart." I said.

"Another problem on our hands," Emma said.

"You act as if you don't have any," I said a little harsher than I intended.

"Not like this," she said with attitude.

"Emma don't," Snow said.

"What? I'm being honest about this," she said. Snow went to say something but I beat her to it.

"And what of this was you? In this situation? Huh? What if you were the one getting beat and raped?" I asked her.

"I'm not though," she said.

"Exactly. You don't know what Regina has been through. So until you are in Regina's shoe don't go around saying things like that," I tell her.

"Well it is the truth. She can't even take care of herself." Emma argued.

"The girl has been abuse mentally, physically, and emotionally ever since her and Leopold got married. Think of how many years that girl went through that type of struggle. You don't know where her mind set is then or now. But yes she can't take care of herself right now but that is was family and friends are for. And you trying to take Henry away from her is only making it worse." I said to her.

"You're trying to take Henry away from Regina?" Snow asked.

"I-" she started but David cut her off.

"Don't think about lying either Emma," he said.

"Yes. Ok? I have been trying to get full custody of Henry. I thought it would be best," she said.

"Yea, best for you." Henry said coming down the stairs. "I already said I didn't want you to have full custody of me. My family is with Regina whether you want to here it or not." He said.

"I'm sorry. Ok Henry?" She tells him trying to touch his arm. He pulls it away.

"Don't touch me. I want to help save my mom," he tells me.

"Ok you can help us," I tell him.

"Emma if you aren't going to help please don't don't get in our way." David said.

"I will help," she said.

"Good. Now let's get to work," David said.
