Unmasking The Truth

Chapter 2

Granny's POV:
I never thought I would see the day the king hurt someone. But I did, I stood there with an angry look on my face staring at him. I may not of liked Regina before, but now I understand why she is angry. I would be too. I walk over to Regina and I can see a bruise forming on her cheek where Leopold hit it twice. I hold my hand out, and she flinched. I have never seen her flinched like this before. I look at the king and he looked down a little. I know he is a little terrified right now but I could care less about that. I slowly walk over to him.

"You lay another finger on her, so god help me. I will hurt you so back you will not be able to walk for the rest of your life." I said coldly.

"She is the Evil Queen she deserves it." He yelled pointing at her and she flinched again. "She deserves everything I am about to do to her." He starts walking towards her and I push his by the chest making him stumble back a little.

"She may have been evil before but she has changed and I don't care what she has done she definitely does not deserve you rapping her and beating the life crap out of her. Now leave this room before you are the one hurt," I said more angry than I was before.

He walks out of the room slamming the door on the way out. I am so angry right now, I don't care what Regina has done in her past she doesn't deserve this. And after what I just witnessed, all my hate and dislike was replace with a sort of mortally love. Something this girl needs. I turn around and look at her, she is still crying I walk over and sit next to her. She just looks at me. I instantly grab her and hug her tightly. At first she fights but then stops and just cry's for about 10 more minutes, before pulling away and wiping the tears. She looks at me.

"You did have to do that." She said in a whisper afraid to talk.

"Regina yes I did," I replied.

"Why? He is right I do deserve what I was about to get." She said. "You don't like me anyway, why protect someone you hate."

"You're right dear, I didn't like you. But after what I just watched, all that went away. No one deserves that not even you. I don't care what you didn't in your past it is about what you do for the future." I said. I take her hand. "All you need is more love. I see that. But I don't want you thinking you deserve to get raped over your past. And if I hear you say that again I swear I will hurt you myself." She smiled a little. "There is that smile I like to see. And let's be honest I started liking you after you stared to date Robin. He changed you and I like you like this."

"Like what?"

"Happy, in love. Even if you don't want to admit it out loud." She looked shocked. "What?" I questioned.

"How did you know I was in love with him?"

"Darling, I see the way you look at Robin and I see the way he looks at you. Both with love. You don't have to admit in on the outside yet just on the inside." She nodded her head.

"I should get back out there,"

"Your bruise dear," I said.

"Right," she uses magic to cover it up.

"Why did you just heal it?" I asked.

"Can't heal bruises for some reason," she said.

"Oh ok. Just please be safe," I said a little worried for her.

"Don't worry Granny I will," she hugs me, which I am surprised about. "Thank you," she whispers into my ear. I hug her back and say you're welcome before she walks out of the room.

Reginas POV:
I walk back to the table and Leopold was no where in sight. I sit down and grab Robins hand.

"I wanna go home," I whisper to him.

"We will once we are done," he replied.

"No, now," I whined a little.

"Baby, you just have to sign the papers and then we can go home." He said.

"Ok," I whispered.

"My father signed them and said he wasn't feeling well so he went home," snow said. I just nodded my headed not wanting to say anything to her. Granny walked up with some water. "What did you and my father talk about?" She asked. Granny looked at Snow before looking at me. I tensed up.

"Do you mind helping me in the back really quick Regina?" She asked. I get up and follow her. "You need to tell her about what happened," she said after closing the door.

"I can't. She won't believe me." I said sadly.

"I honestly don't care. Regina you're right about earlier I never did like you but like I also said, I don't care about you past you don't deserve this especially from the king. Well not my king after what I almost witnessed." She said. "But anyway I care about you Regina please tell someone, ok?" I just nod my head walking out again.

"Ok I want to sign the papers so we can go home." I said. They nod, I sign the papers before Robin and I left back home.

After Granny's we just watched tv all day on the couch.

We are in the kitchen eating dinner right now. But Robin keeps looking at me.

"Yes?" I finally asked.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

I don't want to tell home what is wrong because I know him. He will have an arrow through Leopold's head in a matter of seconds.

"Nothing I promise," I said.

"No you're not," he walked over to me. "Please talk to me,"

"Promise me if I tell you, you won't kill anyone. Because you might get mad," I whispered tears already in my eyes.

"Please baby talk to me, and I won't make any promises." He said.

We walk into the living room and he sat down and I straddle him. I told him everything that happened today. With Leopold did to me today and what Granny did. And what Leopold also did in the past. Robin wasn't to happy and I had to stop him from leaving the house and killing him.

"I am not happy about this," he finally said.

"I know you aren't babe. But you can't kill him. You can get in trouble."

"Doesn't mean I can't break his noise,"

"Robin please listen to me. I am ok I promise, nothing is going to happen to me ok?"

"Ok," he said kissing me.

"Just promise me you won't hurt me or doing anything like that to me." I whisper.

"I could never hurt you. Even if I tried too."

We both took a shower before getting in pjs and going to bed. Tonight is going to be a long night I know that for sure.
