"Wake up young lady."

"H-Huh? What?" I opened my eyes to see darkness... wait, there was a light.

The old man stood before me, with a flashlight illuminating the hay and me.

I pushed the flashlight down abit so it didn't shine directly in my face before speaking.

"Thank you, no, I'll get going."I hopped off the hay wagon, my bag thumping and turned to see him boost himself into the wagon, and leave.

"OK (y/n), you can do this!"

It had started to rain.

The water pounded down, drenching my cloak.

I sighed before opening the oak door to the inn.

I shut the door, turned, and froze.

Three of Lelouch's soldiers sat at the bar, happily sipping their drinks.

Oh my gosh....My hands shook as I lowered my hood and waved my way thru the tables , trying to get to the innkeeper. I finally got there.

I faced away from the soldiers and whispered to the innkeeper.

"Hello, I need a room for tonight."

"Oh tonight? Sorry, all our rooms are filled."

"Are you sure?"

"Ha! Am I sure? I've turned away three people. I'm sure I'm sure."

I sighed, and rested my head down on the bar.

"Ok then." My voice was muffled but the man heard me away and toddled off to the other folks.

I made my way to a table in the corner.

At least I meant to.

Another dark hooded person bumped into me, catching me off balance.

"W-Whoa!" I stumbled backwards but was caught by the wrist by the person.

I looked up to see...

No way.

It can't be!

"N-NOOO!" I shrieked, stumbling backwards again, tying to flee.

I tumbled into the next table, upsetting the couple there, their glasses pouring onto them.

"HEY! Watch where your going!" The guy yelled at me.

But right now I could care less.

The man I thought dwad was standing before me, in the flesh.

But it couldn't be!

"S-Suzaku? No way, Ghost! " I blurted, pointing horrified at him.

He only shushed me, fear clearly showing in his brilliant green eyes.

I noticed the guards at the bar curiously look over.

Suzaku grabbed my hand and pulled me to a partialy enclosed table.

"How? Yoyr supposed to be dead!"

Suzaku sighed and leaned back into his chair.

"You weren't supposed to know. This spoils a few things. If your so curious, I'll tell you what happened."

I nodded vigorously.

"Well, after I lost sight of you and Lelouch, I circled back.

But I had caught sight of the man trying to assassinate me. I was drop dead scared at that time but I managed to dodge it but seem as if I had been shot. I fell to the ground off my horse, and crawled away before he man found out I wasn't dead."

I stared at him with wide eyes.

"That's insane. I can't believe Lelouch actually was going to kill you!"

"Ha! I wouldn't have put it padt him. He's always had a dark side. He doesn't really show it, but recently Lelouch hasn't been holding back."

"I'm sorry (y/n), that I wasn't able to get you out quicker, but I'm glad you have escaped."

I brushed my hair behind my ear.

"Well, yes. It wasn't too hard. But now there's no room here. Do you know anywhere I could stay?"

"Your sister is just down the road. I've been boarding in her house. She still hasn't gotten her memories back."

"Really?" I asked, relieved.

If my sister hasn't gotten her memories back, I could stay there and she wouldn't know who I am!

"Let's go!" I said eagerly.

A blonde haired man sat in a decorated chair inside of a jet.

"Are we almost there yet?" He asked firmly, his blue eyes narrowing.

"Not yet..." answered a black haired guard

"Prince Schneizel."
