(Your POV)

Suzaku and I managed to slip of the inn without the guards noticing.
The rain still pounded down, drenching my cloak once again.
"So, it's just down the road?" I asked, pulling my hood down.
"Yes, It's well lit inside so It won't be hard to spot."

Just as He said, it was extremely well lit.
The candles inside looked so very warm.
I knocked at the door sharply.
A wavering voice could be heard over Suzaku's shuffling.
"Who is it?"
"Suzaku Kururugi and (Y/n)...... Moon." I said, pausing at my last name.
The door opened and I was faced with my sister.
This was not the glamorous arrogant sister I once knew.
This was a sunken eyed skeleton .
"(Y/n)? That sounds... familiar.."
"Oh really?" I wondered, falsely.
Suzaku pushed past me and hugged Vanessa.
"I'm back."
"Good, I missed you."

Huh, so Suzaku had gotten all chummy with my sister eh?
"This way, I have a spare bedroom for you."
I smiled and hung my coat.
This was the sister that I hoped was underneath that bitterness.
I followed her to the room. It was floral and beautiful.
"Thank you." I said, turning to her.
Vanessa smiled softly, her pale skin stretching, hugging her white bones making her smile strange.
She bid me goodnight and shut the door.
I lugged my suitcase to the bed and plopped down onto it.
Maybe it was a good thing her memories were wiped after all.....

I woke the next morning to the sound of scratching.
I sat up and walked to the door.
I opened it and a cute grey and black cat strutted in.
"Aw, ain't you cute!" I whispered, kneeling down to pet the cat.
"Ah, I see you met Arthur." A voice said above me.
I looked up to see Suzaku.
"So that's his name." I muttered, scratching his neck.

"Breakfast is ready." Said my sister.
"K!" I said simply, standing up.
Suzaku smiled and went down the stairs to the kitchen.
After seating ourselves, Suzaku glanced at me.
"You know, rumors are that... Lelouch is acting like a mad man. He's tearing up things, he's yelling at people who can't find you and he's constantly sending more people out to look for you."
"Tch, figures. He wasn't to happy when I protested at stuff so no wonder Lelouch is going out of his mind that I actually escaped him."
Vanessa plopped some toast onto my plate. "Lelouch?" She asked.
"Um, yes, Lelouch."
"Lelouch, Lelouch, Lelouch." Vanessa muttered to herself as she turned to get more toast.
I shot a worried look at Suzaku, but he just waved a hand.
I put a peice of toast into my mouth and stood. "I'm going out, I'll be back." I said, my voice muffled by the toast.
Suzaku dropped his spoon that he was using for jam. "W-What? You'll be captured! Or worse, killed!"
"Nah, I'm fine, I'll be back." I shrugged on my cloak and left a blustering Suzaku inside the house.

Authors note: Not quite a thrilling chapter but the next one will be popcorn eating material. >:D
