★ Zero The King ★

I walked down the hall, almost to the roof when I heard someone beckon me from behind.

"(Y/n)? What are you doing here?"

I turned to see... oh goody.... Lelouch.

What, did this guy try to follow me everywhere?

He's not following me because he knows.. right?

Lelouch had his consintrated look still.

He walked until he was a foot in front of me.

"I was going to um, check something." I said, trying my best to sound like that was the truth.

Lelouch smirked.

"Oh really? So, what are you checking on exactly?" He asked, leaning one elbow on the wall next to him.

I brushed back my hair.

"I had... some plants from my class that needed experimentation on them, that's all."

Lelouch shook his head like it made total unquestionable sense.

"Lulu!" His eyes widened in anger/freaking out.

Lelouch turned quickly. "S-Shirley!"

"Yup it's me! Come on! We'll be late for the student council meeting! Come on!" And with that she dragged him off, him still looking back at me.

(Lelouch's POV)

As the brat Shirley dragged me, I looked back at (y/n).

She was hiding something from me.

And I can't stand not knowing it, it'll take all of my control not to rip this girl off me and grab (y/n) now. UGH.

(Your POV)

I sighed and bolted up the stairs.

(Suzaku's POV)

I paced back and forth on the roof. (Y/n) should've been here by now, I wonder what's going on...

"Suzaku?"

(Y/n)'s soft voice shook me out of my thoughts.

I turned as the wind gushed.

She walked forwards.

I gulped.

"I need to tell you something."

(Y/n) stopped walking and tipped her head to the side.

"What is it?"

I took a deep breath and knelt.

"My princess, I was sent to be your personal knight. I've finally found you!"

Her eyes widened and she took a horrified step back.

"W-who sent you? How do you- no, why? Wait, who told you?"

I grabbed her hand, trying to stop her from backing away.

"Your mother instructed me to guard you with her last breath.

I've been trying to find you since Zero took over your kingdom.

I need to protect you.

He's tried to find you as well, since your the last living heir now.

If he wants to really rule the kingdom, he needs you at his side!"

(Your POV)

Zero? Wants me? Then... is Lelouch his knight? Has he been instructed to capture me? Or even worse, kill me?

I tried to pry my hand away from him.

"N-No, I don't believe you, Mother... she didn't.... Zero? He took over? Impossible! " I sputtered.

But how could I find some way to prove him wrong, it was just to accurate.

"Let go of me!" I practically shrieked. For four years no one's known abot me. I've tried to forgrt about my title, but in one day two guys have made me think about my past. And I didn't like it, not one bit.

That's it, I'm leaving.

"Stop it!" I pulled back my hand even farther stepping twords the door. Suzaku pulled me back.

I collided with a hard chest and looked up.

"Stop!" I still tried to get away.

Suzaku looked into my eyes.

"Princess, I can't let you leave just yet, you need to understand, I stopped struggling.

Maybe if I fake ok, he'll let me go.

Instead of course, he held me tighter.

"Except me as your knight!" He pleaded.

"Fine! I accept! " I yelled. I was going to scream something else, but a door stopped me.

I twisted my head around to see Lelouch standing there.

"What's going on here, Suzaku." He spat out, looking at him angrily.

Suzaku released me and brushed his coat.

"My apologies (y/n), I need to leave."

Lelpuch watched him leave then turned to me. "(Y/n)... what was that?" He purred, advancing towards , me.

I backed up, unfortunately, the side of the roof was right there, I stumbled back abit, threatening to fall. Lelouch grabbed my wrists and planted them both down onto the rough concrete, making me wince. "Hey!"

Lelouch leaned forward, amd whispered into my ear.

"What. Was. That?" He asked, menacingly.

"N-Nohing, and why do you care anyway?"

As he let go of one of my hands, I pushed against his chest. He didn't budge. Lelouch trailed one long finger along my cheek.

"I care because" he smirked

"I am Zero."
