★ A Kiss In The Moonlight ★

(Lelouch's POV)

I smirked as I dug the thorns into her palm, making her squirm.

"And I believe I've won."

She stopped squirming and looked at me wih fire in her eyes.

(Y/n) tried to tug her hand back but of course, she couldn't.

"You've... won.. nothing!" She said.

I, surprised at her remark, said "That's what you think." Before letting her go.

(Y/n) eyes suddenly filled with tears before turning away and fleeing back into the ball room.

"Maybe you were a little bit too cruel Lelouch. She'll never love you at this rate."

Suzaku appeared from behind a bunch of tall shrubs.

"Maybe, I don't mind as long as she's mine."

Suzaku frowned. "Maybe?"

"Yes maybe," I walked to the glass door and turned partially.

"Now will you shut up."

Suzaku raised an eyebrow and watched me leave....

(Your POV)

I could see Lelouch wave his way thru the dancing nobles to where I was. To nip this in the bud, I'm sad to say I fled, very fast.

Lelouch wasn't all that bad, but I needed some time alone, and maybe a band aid or two. I ducked and dodged the twirling colorful dancers and tried to make my way back to the rose garden, hoping Lelouch would look everywhere in the ball room before trying there.

I sped into the garden, skidding to a stop....

(Suzaku's POV)

I sat down on a bench, still in the rose Garden. Did Lelouch care for (y/n) at all? It's seems like it, but then he just seems filled with want. Maybe he just has so much lust for her that his kindness is being swallowed up...

Everyone is right... he's insane.

A pitter patter of sharp heels came into the garden. I raised my head, curious. A eustle of bushes told me the girl was behing the few roe bushes in front of me. K stood and made my way around it. There was (y/n), looking extremely frazzled, her ring glinting in the moonlight. "(Y/n)?" I asked, my voice barely a whisper. She jumped and turned her head. A look of slight panick was replaced my relief. "Oh, it's you.... wait.... SUZAKU?" (Y/n) stood, shocked.

"Um, hello, your geass was..... temporary. "

She raised a hand to her heat and breathed out a sigh of relief. "That's wonderful.... wait... your a student, why are you here?" She questioned, her (e/c) eyes looking up at me with wonder. I gulped. "Well, you see, I am your personal knight, and I was invited back to the castle."

(Y/n) beamed, her smile almost lighting up the garden. I took a step forwards and took her hand, making a slight blush go to her cheeks. "What's this?" I questioned, as if I hadn't seen everything from the ballroom. "Oh.... Lelouch proposed to me, but, I don't really wish to be married to him in a few years."

(Your POV)

Suzaku grew nearer. "You know, if you ever feel.... overwhelmed, you can always run away to the nearby village. They always help outcasts and such."

Hmm overwhelmed, that could happen, I guess I could always run away from the engagement ... maybe.

Something tells me Lelouch would stop at nothing to get me back though.

"Suzak I don-"

His proximity unnerved me, making me pause. He grew closer ever still until his lips were almost brushing mine. "I see why Lelouch loves you now." He mumbled before his lips met mine innocently.

My eyes widened, not believing it.

(No ones POV)

In a heartbeat, the kiss was over. You could barely call it a kiss, however, it was more than enough to make a certain King called Lelouch jealous. He just needed to brush against her fair skin to make him envious.

He glared at him as he drew away from her sweet mouth.

"You'll pay."
